Soto is trying to jab his way in now as he looks a lil befuddled. Gaudet is now coming forward and pushing the pace on Soto. Soto trying to measure Gaudet and becoming a one punch puncher. Bad move for Soto right now. Gaudet is now letting his hands go but unfortunately there's NOTHING on these punches. Soto is in the corner now and against the ropes. Soto has his hands down and is not throwing punches now. Soto JUST misses a BIG uppercut as Gaudet moves back. Soto lands a stiff hard right hand that buckles Gaudet's legs. Gaudet is still moving forward though as Soto tries to chase Gaudet around. Gaudet throws a 5 punch combo and Soto answers with one BIG thudding punch.

Close round again. I'll give it to Soto but it's close.

4-1 Soto with a KD point

The power punch stats are pretty close surprisingly. Gaudet landing at 37% and Soto is landing at 39%.

Soto's people want MORE pressure and Gaudet's people want more boxing. Gaudet's corner tells him to ignore the crowd and focus on the fight.

Hatton Band says they never showed up for Prince Naseem because they were never asked.

Lampley with the snark of the night by saying "Naz wasn't much of a marching band guy."

Another close if albeit boring round. Gaudet certainly has proven himself as a somewhat capable fighter. If Gaudet had some pop or a good chin, he'd be pretty good.

Gaudet is letting his hands go and keeping things closer than he should for Zorrita. I think we're now beginning to see that speed will cause A LOT of problems for Soto. Guzman is one thing but struggling with Gaudet is another.

    Gaudet just rang Soto's genitals.

Soto and Gaudet rumbling against the ropes and the crowd cheers. Gaudet is moving really good still and he's got his sea legs under him. Round ends as both guys are throwing and rumbling.

I have it 4-3 with a point on the KD for Soto.

Lampley and Steward taking the **** out of Soto saying if he thought Soto would use this performance to springboard into a big money performance, he failed.

"Perspicacity" is a lovely choice of words. I would have prefered "sagacious," myself.
