I agree, Hatton is a good guy and doesn't deserve this. The problem is that the Brits always ridiculously hype their guys (and are usually very annoying while doing so) and in very few cases this is actually appropriate.

I never believed Pac would carry his power and speed up like he did. I think I can get the Brits to pay me to pick Klitchko at this point though.

of course he didnt mean to get ko'd and i do respect him for taking the fight but im still disappointed in his performance. e got his tactics completly wrong, he was like a bull in a china shop. i didnt see any jabs, hardly any head movement. all this talk of "a new ricky hatton" and what did we get...ricky swinging and leaving himself open to a devastating counter hook. i respect ricky i really do but nothing is going to stop me from being disappointed in his performance tonight.

rewatch the Malignaggi fight, same Hatton and he was talking like that then. You can do it in training but doing it in the ring is a different story.
Hatton has balls the size of churchbells. I still respect him. He has done well for himself and for England. He tried, but was not in the same class as Pac. I suspect not in the same class as Marquez either. Pac will knock Mayweather out, if Marquez does not beat him to it.

On the other hand, how many of you that want sympathy and respect for Ricky's bravery and willingness to fight the best were so even handed when a guy like Edison Miranda got KO'd by Pavlik and Abraham (especially considering he has always took on the best comp available, stopping Eastman, deserving the win in the first Abraham fight, and beating Green)?
