Prime Pryor v. the Pacman from last night. How do you think this fight would unfold.

    I won't be blinded.

Pryor by stoppage, late, in an amazing fight where Pryor pulls away in the last few rounds due to being a better fighter at this weight.

Hatton is not at his best now, and basically walked into everything Pac threw.

Pryor would not do this, he was a far more subtle fighter than people give him credit for, and if buzzed could be fluid on the backfoot.

He would attack Pac in bursts and nullify Pac's speed with small movements designed to get him on the inside, and would throw off numerous powerful flurries, whilst obviously taking some in the way in.

Pac would undoubtedly hurt Pryor, but, at his best, Pryor could take his shots, and be in enough of a groove by the 10th round that Freddie Roach would step in and save his charge from further punishment.

    IMO :good

Pryor was indeed the greatest 140 lbs fighter who ever lived.

People will get caught up in this victory though (a fantastic one, but Hatton's punch resistance has clearly waned in the last few years, still a great K.O nonetheless, is horrible to see) and start predicting Pac to beat Duran, Carlos Ortiz etc etc

However, I say (expecting arrows) that I finally feel Pac has edged Fighting Harada as the greatest Asian fighter of all time.

look to be honest after Pacs win over Hatton and De La Hoya

can we ever really write him off, Freddie Roach is a tacticcle genius and Pacquiao follows his plans to perfection. Pac also has that power as an equiliser and has great foot movement and speed. And hes constantly improving.

All we need now is to see more of him at the higher weights LWW or WW and see how he does against other fighters and see if his chgin is good

i have derided him beofre saying he isnt hat great H2H but i am wrong you can never discount this guy

    O.K

Pac boxes in the first round, and catches Pryor coming in with some stiff lefts before backing away and turning Pryor, gaining only a smile from The Hawk.

2-5th round-Pac continues boxing, and manages to stifle Pryor on the inside by throwing his own fast combinations with his back to the ropes, before spinning back out and cuffing Pryor with combinations.

6-7th round-Pryor has more success, luring Pac into exchanges in the centre of the ring and backing PAc up.

8th round-Pac is forced to be the aggressor, with Pryor bottling stamina for a late surge. Pryor slips some of Pac's big shots and lands some shots to the midsection in a close round where Pryor shows off his boxing skills.

    Pac is looking frustrated.

9th-10th Round-Pryor turns on the gas in the 9th, luring Pacman into a trading fest and hurting him with somebig hooks upstairs. Pac hits Pryor with the huge left he hit Hatton with, snapping his head back, but only gets another smile from Pror.

11th Round-Pryor backs Pac onto the ropes with a combination upstairs, and comes in and batters Pac to the body.

Pac pushes Pryor away and gets in the centre of the ring, but Pryor dodges Pac coutner right hook and comes straight back inside and lands a sickening body blow.

WIth Pac backed against the ropes, Pryor becomes a whirlwind, forcing PAc to take a knee to the shcok of boxing fans Worldwide.

Pac gets to his feet at 8 and does his usual hands in the air bounce, and as the fight resumes and Pryor comes to PAc with the intention of finishing him, Pac goes right back at Pryor, and a brief scuffle ensues.

Pac is getting hit with heavy artillery though, and Pryor is slipping Pac's biggest shots. As Freddie Roach begins to step onto the apron, it is academic as Pryor winds up a bolo punch with the right hand, before pausing, feigning a left hook-Then throwing a right straight into Pac's jaw and upending him and leaving his body contorted onto the mat.

Roach is already in the ring and really it should've been stopped ten seconds before.

here, is that enough alanysis for ya

****! I genuinely didn't mean that, I was referring to the sticky patches in the Arguello fights where Pryor would conserve energy by boxing on the back foot, fluidly and with an underrated jab for a man of his stature.

Hatton isn't in the same league as Pryor, and all that Pacquiao used to overwhelm Hatton last night with, Pryor had in spades. That style was Pryor's game. That being said, it would be a great fight.

What I'm seeing is that Pac has improved technically since moving up. Pryor was very gifted athletically. Pac is also. Pryor can get sloppy but I also agree that he could be subtle when necessary. I think it would be an amazing fight. Right now, I'll give it to Pryor on a late stoppage. Let's see what Pac does against Maywaeather (hopefully).

I think the biggest improvement in Manny of late (read Diaz, DLH and Hatton fights) is his ability to turn opponents and his footwork in changing angles. These are things that would be huge assets against Pryor. Pryor may have trouble pressuring Pacman consistently due to his movement and speed.
