how good does erik morales's resume look after tonight?

Yep, Erik beat him when it mattered. I always preferred him over JMM/MAB/Pac, and I think Pac's stellar achievements reflect nicely on Morales.

 

very good. jmm's stock also went-up after tonight.

 

As good as it did before this fight doesnt change anything.

 

By the same token what does that say about MAB who had two victories over Morales!

 

The rematches decisively put him in retirement home. Again, don't tell me he was already shot when Pac knocked him out. That has gotten old already.

Not to make any excuse, the first fight was Pac's first foray in the 130 and got headbutted in that fight, fighting w/ one eye closed. That fight was not even a blow out. Erik was ahead only by 2 points in the judges' score.

It was a close fight that I scored even.

And Pac was not allowed to wear the gloves of his choice - which even Morales believe makes a difference as evidenced by him wearing in in their 3rd fight.

Also Pac suffered a very nasty cut in that fight CAUSED BY HEADBUTT. This is no intangible bull**** excuse like mentally shot, or ill-preparedness, the cut is very real you can clearly see it in the fight.

IMO the guy whose stock really rose tonight is JMM.

 

EM and MAB may actually be ranked higher than dela hoya and trinidad...

 

Regardless of the gloves and cut and whatever else, I don't think many (if any) would agree with this. The fight was close, but there was one clear winner.

no one rose in stock imo...different weight class means different intangibles etc....


the pac that morales beat back then was a bit green imo on skillwise...the pac that destroyed hatton is a more polished or better yet complete fighter than the one that fought jmm and morales.....
