the worst part is that Pacquiao is naturally a much smaller fighter than Floyd

 

How is Pac win over Oscar better than Floyds??

Oscar was number ranked Jr MW and held WBC title and weigh in 165 fight night.
The Oscar that fought Pacman had not fought at WW since 2001 and was severely weight drained and Pacman had outweighed Oscar

 

Mayweather will NOT beat Paquiao, not today, not tomorrow and he was never able to do it..... AND No, I'm not a Pac fan, though last night he made me a huge believer.

THING IS Mayweather didn't, Mayweather couldn't !!!! Life is full of IFs.....boxing is no exception, I'm pretty sure a lot, IF not most of the fights could've had different outcomes IFFFFFFFF THE OTHER FIGHTER WOULD HAVE DONE SOMETHING DIFFERENTLY, like maybe landing just one punch...... BUT they didn't!!!!

 

There were times when Mayweather did, and when that happened, Oscar was powerless to stop him from doing so. If Mayweather had Pacquiao's approach to fighting, he could've beaten up Oscar too. But that's like saying that Hatton could've staved off a Pacquiao KO had he boxed, but he doesn't do that.

Mayweather showed enough in the Oscar fight to convince me he didn't beat up Oscar like Pacquiao did, simply because he didn't want to. He's a boxer, not a "fighter" like Manny is.

It's conjecture on my part, but I believe it's a reasoned one.

 

LOL. PBF fought Oscar in a weight Oscar was comfortable at. It was a tougher fight for PBF, ergo, it is a better win.

 

So you say that mayweather going up 1 (ONE) li'l division t o fight Oscar is more than Pac having to move up 2 or 3???? Sorry, my friend, it was not a better win, at least not in a common sense kind of way....

Bottom line is the smaller man came up and outperformed Floyd against Floyd's best 2 wins by a significant margin.

 

Certainly pac performance against oscar was far better. The hatton one's however, well of course knocking someone out like pac did is eye catching and what your looking to see but they both done a number on hatton, just in different ways.

The hatton win was not better than castillo, corrales, judah or probably even hernadez IMO

 

Well, people's minds will change if Floyd beats Marquez. Either that, or they will say Marquez was too small for Floyd. They said PAc can't win when it comes to who he beats. Neither can Floyd.

According to the logic around here, Muhammad Ali would have NO chance against George Foreman.

After all, Ali didn't KO Frazier and Norton and Foreman brutally destroyed them.

What does that mean? Styles make fights! Also that the common opponent and triangle theory don't mean much.

These fights are impressive but do little to tell us about what would happen if Pacquiao and Mayweather fought.
