I'm really hoping this was sarcasm, but yeah Floyd Snr was very disappointing to say the least.

 

If people are blaming Floyd for the loss, then yes they are. However, people have a legitimate shout when stating that Floyd Snr has acted unprofessionally and is a dick.

also, if you look at the HBO coverage, in between the rounds, when he has a word with Ricky he tells him that he needs to keep moving his head and keeping his hands up, and the key thing he says is - "LIKE I BEEN TELLING YOU FROM DAY ONE!!!"

Truth is Ricky went back to being himself, he listened in one ear and out the other, he may have listened to Floyd Sr. in training and sparring, but as soon as he got in the ring, there was a little head movement, but his hands were low, he was jabbing a little but altogether, he went back to being himself, and threw the gameplan and Floyd Sr.'s advice out the window.

He is his own worse enemy and God himself cannot corner Ricky to win against the best.

His chance has een blown. His choices are clear - either fight lesser boxers or hang the gloves up. I think he'd be better off retiring.

Ricki Hatton was well beaten by a better boxer who would beat Ricki 10 from 10.

The manner in which Ricki was prepared and fought is whats in question and thats down to inadequate preparation, poor training Bad advice from FM Snr.

He also can't make Hatton fight any way other than how the man chooses to fight when the time comes to go to war. Hatton did what he's always done. Besides, even if Mayweather Sr. had devised a brilliant boxing strategy, Hatton couldn't pull it off.
