    He trained. He practiced.
And when the bell rang --- he forgot it all.
Hands down, leading with his face.
    Mayweather didnt teach him that.

Of course you're totally right in this respect, that's all Ricky's fault. The problem is that Sr. acted like scum in not staying with Hatton after he got KTFO. He should at least be concerned about his health. (I might be wrong but I didn't see him anywhere after Ricky was out).

i think when as a trainer you spend most of your time composing poems to impress the media, when you should be working out some sort of strategy to deal with the opponents offense - then maybe i think you should retire

Then what does that say about Hatton taking him as a trainer, I still never understood exactly why he choose Sr to train him.

Mayweather Sr SUCKS as a trainer and Ive been saying that for years. Thats why his own son left him in the dust a long time ago.

That's just silly. How was Hatton "victimized" by Mayweather Sr when it was Hatton who solicited Mayweather to train him?"

There was nothing Mayweather Sr or any other trainer could do for Hatton. Nothing.

cant believe these Hatton fans. Didn't you say he was a different fighter under floyd. He outboxed Mallignaggi. he's faster and jabs. He's a much improved fighter you lot said.

What happened to all that you were saying?
