He fought exactly like he always does and got his ass whooped. It was inevitable. It's not his fault people were fooled into thinking this was a contest.

 

If people were fooled thats because they are fools.

I don't know if he let boxing down but I think he let himself down by his performance. I would like to think he is better than he showed in the contest. For me he has not got better since the Tyzu fight. He just does not have a clue with skilled southpaws. I rember the Cllazo and Magee fights.

 

And you believed him? I said a long time ago I barely saw **** different against Malignaggi. People were seeing things they wanted to see, they had to fool themselves into thinking Hatton could win. He beat up a featherfisted guy that was made for him and only throws jabs.

It's not anybodies fault except the people that bought into this. Hatton had to say the right things to convince himself he was in the fight.

Nobody except Roach thought this was a 2 round demolition, but this is really not so much of a shock if you are coming from the position that Pacquiao is definitely going to win based on pure logic, as opposed to the Brit forums delusions.

agree to an extent. 20 Thousand people empty there bank accounts to fly half way across the world to see you fight and you can't even keep your ****ing hands up.

 

The problem is people refuse to be objective about Hatton. I have seen so many of his fights for obvious reasons and the truth is he is and has always been the same old fighter. Yesterday's defeat should not be a shock to anyone. Hatton like I said was ready made to order for a sharpshooter like Pacman.

 

Its unfair to say that he let boxing down he done us proud just by taking the fight. He trained to the best of his ability turned up and tried his best his best wasn't good enough but do u thnk that was the result he was looking for? Obviously not or he wouldn't have taken the fight if he didn't think he could win. I think mayweather killed the real ricky hatton and he should hang up his gloves but to say he disgraced boxing wen he has raised the profile of the sport in britain tenfold is completw bull****. The guy will be distraught just now and needs our support not to be put down wen he gave his all for our entertainment

 

A little more respect would be appropriate.

Boxing fans seem to think that they can talk **** about a fighter just because he lost his last fight.

If Hattons critics on this site have such serious issues with his performance let them fight Paquiao.
