Oh the irony of saying Manny only has balls if he fights mayweather @ 147.

Oh, I think the fight will happen but not @ 147.

There will probably be a catchweight of 144 or so.

All this Pac by KO is a load of ****. When was the last time Floyd was truly caught with a clean punch that hurt him? The Chop Chop fight? Not to mention he recovered incredibly quickly. Floyd has never even been put in danger of being stopped.... NEVER. It would be a fight between a great fighter and a master boxer.

Trust me on this. Floyd will take no chances. He isn't going to try and physically impose his will on Manny, and Floyd has no problems fighting backwards, or fighting off the ropes.

The higher Manny goes, and the more he fights natural 140 and 147 pound fighters, they struggle with his hand speed and his fast feet. Floyd has seen quick hands and feet at 130, at 135, It won't take him to long to adjust to the speed.

Mayweather doesn't give a **** about knocking Manny out, he just wants to win. Floyd will box Manny. Get a good jab going, use feints to upset Pac's rhythm and use his superior defense to pick and choose when to Counter. Manny is still open to counter shots and doesn't have fantastic head movement. A couple of lead right hands from Floyd and the complexion of the fight will change.

Manny will come to Floyd, Floyd will jab so Manny cant come barging in and once Pacquiao throws Floyd will look to counter and than slide out the side door. Eventually, Floyd will get Manny's timing and thats when the lead right hands will come into play. If FLoyd is confident enough in Pacman's timing he may begin to sit down on those right hands and that is when Pacquiao gets into trouble. Manny has good footwork, Floyd has great footwork, and that will make the difference in the fight.

After 36 minutes with little action Floyd will still be undefeated and a lot of people will be pissed off. This won't be a great fight. Floyd makes exciting fighters look boring. Manny Pacquiao is no exception.

A loss to Floyd doesn't mean Manny isn't an all time great, it is just a bad matchup stylistically for him.

Let's see if Floyd still has it after 2 years layoff.
If he hasn't lost anything then I would pick him by UD.

Thing is: Mayweather looked the most awesome ever vs. Corrales at 130. He lost some speed, power and mobility moving up in weight classes (yes, he did, go YT), but he was still a LOT faster than the opposition up there, and his defense became even better.

The thing is with Pacquiao: it's shocking, but he didn't lose any speed moving up, became even stronger, more accurate and gained the weight without any negative effects (in fact, lost the drain effects).

It's now a very hard fight to pick. Mosley, Clottey, Willams and Cotto would obviously outweight PacMan by 10 pounds, it wouldn't be fair. But Pac would come in at 152 vs. Floyd, so he wouldn't be outweighed by much, or at all, and Mayweather is not a physical fighter.

Now imagine Floyd fighting a guy as fast as him (faster than Zab), more powerful than him, but most of all: very mobile, hard to hit, having just as good stamina and being A LOT BUSIER...

I wouldn't pick a winner right now, I'm obviously under the effects of the Hatton fight. But Pacquiao is more than a special fighter. He's like a predator in there, something Floyd, who I would've picked just 24 hours ago to win, has never ever seen before.

The quicker fighter will win . . . although I'm not certain who's quicker at this particular juncture. Williams murderlizes both of them.

P.S. I still pick De La Hoya to beat Cotto.
