He's not top 20 yet guys and probably never will be. He's a helluva fighter but the strength in depth in boxing just isn't here any more. Hatton is a very good not a great fighter; his reputation is based all on one fight against Zoo. The other 2 great fighters Hatton went in with destroyed him. Beating SSM won't do all that much for moving him up but if he beats PBF then things get interesting.
Because this is a question of resume and accomplishments, not a question of who the **** can beat who.
winning 6 titles in 6 division is timeless and quite an excellent achievement...he is a legit top 25 fighter
I didn't give Pac the credit he deserved for beating De La Hoya. If he beats Floyd, he is easily top 20.
agree with every word:good if he beats PBF, that's top 10 material right there. better than leonard and at par with duran
Top 35 now. If he beats PBF top 20-25.ATG. Breaking into the top 20 is damn near impossible to do. The older fighters are held on too much of a high pedestal. If he beats PBF, Shane and Cotto he might do it but that's a long shot.
just to get a bit of perspective, knowledgeable posters here in ESB 2 years ago were not even giving pac a chance against juan diaz at 135 when pac was still fighting at 130. so when someone (PacDbest) suggested that pac would fight and BEAT hatton, oscar and floyd, these experts told him that if pac will do all of those that he mentioned, he would be certified top 5 or 10 ATG, iirc, and one even said that he would be the "GOAT". now, pac had already accomplished those two and would just need floyd.
No, he's not, I really can't see anyone in my 25 i would rank him above currently. But he can make it in with massive wins. Doesn't Oscar have six division straps, too?
