Pac is one of the best fighters that I have seen. He definately had a great deal to do with what happened last night.

I was actually rooting for Pac(even though I did pick Hatton). I am in no way a Hatton fan.

So I guess Manny's amazing skillset prevented Hatton from moving his head or keeping his hands up.

Not me, I pointed out that he was still making a lot of the same mistakes.

Watch the guy fight, he makes a ton of mistakes. It's aboslutey inexcusable for a supposed elite fighter to perform like Hatton did last night.

I'm not that worried about the $50. However, I think it's ridiculous that we as fans shell out money to see guys like Hatton give half ass efforts.

Because you think Hatton should have done what YOU say, that means he was unprepared? WTF?!?! Sounds pretty arm chair....

I would not challenge that possibility at all.

It was definitely an ugly finish. It is amazing because six years ago or so it would have been daft to prognosticate Manny destroying the great featherweights and now he's doing it at junior welter. I can remember watching him in '95 - '97 on television while living in Asia. He looked talented then, but he's amazing now. Ricky looked drained and not as robust. I think it is hard to maintain strength and not put on weight in middle age. Hopkins was much stronger in the mid-90s to late-90s (IMO) then he was by the time he fought Trinidad (at almost 37 years of age). But, he was able to become even craftier.

Lance, are you really going to tell me that he looked prepared for what Pac was going to do out there? Pac sure as hell looked like he was completely prepared. When you're getting hit with punches that Stevie Wonder could see coming, there's a problem. In any sport, when you get blown out made to look foolish, your preperation will always be questioned. It's not a difficult concept.

hes not a fraud. nobody in the hardcore boxing community really thought he was great. he doesnt suck, hes just a good fighter who was knocked out by two great fighters.

This isn't any sport. Anyone can get KO'd early, no matter HOW prepared you are.

He was outclassed badly Reg. Plain and simple. Hatton's NOT a defensive fighter, did you expect him to shoulder roll all those punches coming? He fights how he fights.

Dude, this happens. It'll happen again. Like I said, you really have nothing to base his "unpreparedness" on other then what you think he SHOULD have done. I can look at fighters who lost and say what they SHOULD have done. Doesn't mean they weren't prepared properly.

haha, I'm not going to get into a 'post your stats' pissing contest with you, fat boy, suffice to say, anyone who feels the need to refer to themselves as 'BigReg' is usually lacking in certain areas, gnome sane? :yep

Funny, you don't care how long it took Floyd to get Hatton out of there, but the basis of your opinion on why Hatton is a fraud is because Manny KOd him in 2

    you idiot

Don't worry fat boy, just think about how you contributed to the $12mill Hatton made from getting KTFO in 2 rounds and stop your whining...reach for another Krispy Kreme and eat all that angst away

the loss of hatton over pac should not put or categorize hatton as fraud..does that mean if pbf losses to pac, pbf is fraud?!

Maybe this loss proved that Hatton was overrated.

But "being overrated" and "being a fraud" are two different things, imho. I wouldn't call any fighter "a fraud" because he lost to two men who were p4p #1 when he faced them.

Wow man where have you been?! Good to hear from you bro. But yes Hatton is a good fighter but never was great. He will always lose to the elite. When you really think about it, take Kosta Tszyu away and he doesnt have big wins.
