If Floyd went to down 135 to fight Marquez would you still be mad?

Did you see the pics? They aren't far apart in size.

The size difference between Marquez-Floyd is smaller than Floyd-Cotto/Mosley

but no one complains about that.

**** I bet people will praise Cotto for fighting Pacquaio.

It doesn't limit lmfao. You have no clue about rehydrating and cutting weight.

The average human body can cut 10-15lbs of water weight.

Floyd would not have to lose any muscle to go down to 140 what so ever.

Mad, Floyd's haters would be jumping for joy that Floyd had to kill himself to make weight:lol:.

Void could lose that small amount of weight, but he is trying to get a bigger advantage over Marquez. Void could come down to 140 easily. Hell, let him fight Christy Martin.

All I know is that if Arum says Floyd has to fight Pac at 140, or there is no fight...I'm going to shite on Arum, Roach, Pac, Moorer lol. It would tell me that they don't want the fight. Arum says PAc is fighting Cotto this winter. Will he ask Cotto to come in under 147? He better not lol.

You have no clue what you are talking about and have been schooled.

You claimed Floyds only advantage is that he doesn't have to cut weight.

Well he has to cut weight to make 143.

So he doesn't have an advantage.

    Of course he won't.

But you are going to hear Cotto praised for fighting Pacquaio.

The same people who are bashing Floyd for fighting Marquez are going to be saying props to Cotto for fighting Pacquiao

    I would applaud that move.

However - From ring magazine website

"The two camps seem to disagree on the catch weight.

It’s 144, according to matchmaker Eric Gomez of Golden Boy Promotions, Marquez’s promoter. However, when Mayweather was asked repeatedly to confirm that, he refused to do so. He said more than once “that it’s welterweight (147-pound limit) fight.”

One source familiar with the negotiations said that weight was a point of contention throughout the talks. He also said the discrepancy has the potential to destroy the deal, in spite of the news conference to announce it on Saturday.

It might be difficult for Mayweather to get down to 144, and it seems that 147 is too big for Marquez."

This makes Floyd and his camp seem more like Cherry picking to me.

That said - I don't want to insult JMM with being the cherry picked - I have a feeling after 18 months off and the tough battles JMM has been shrpening his sword on that it's not "easy work" as Floyd is fond of saying.

Who says he has ten pounds of pure water weight when he weighs 150?

If there's absolutely no difference between him fighting at 140 or 147, then why doesn't he just make the fight for 140 then?

No, just the ones that actually have 6-7 pounds of water weight to lose.

The average human body has 10-15s of water weight to lose.

Even people who weight 100lbs have that much.

Void will get his best weight, his referee and his judges like he always has. Castillo beat the crap out of Void yet Void still got a decision. Fans raised Hell over such a criminal decision.
