If thats the case, I think your overrating Floyd's power.

His little pity pats from the outside ain't going to be enough to stop the Pacman.

I think Floyd would stop Pac but I hope for the other way around. Maybe Pac totally dominates PBF?

I think it'll be Manny via SD, something similar to the JMM fights.

Co-sign...not that Floyd would need this fight at welter to win.

You know, I've always favored Floyd against Pac. I thought even if Pac beats Hatton, I'd still favor Floyd. But after that scintillating KO win of Pac last night(which I never saw coming), **** IT. I'm going for Pac on this one. I think he now has the tools to beat Floyd. The Floyd fans can say Pac has never fought someone like PBF, but its the same thing with Floyd. He has never fought someone like Pac before as well.

This is 55/45 Manny for me. And Manny might win by either SD or a late TKO(after a hard fought battle). Yes I think a KO/TKO is possible. PBF doesn't get hit too often nowadays, so we don't really have a definite gauge as to how good his chin is at these higher weights. Especially if he gets hit by someone who's as fast and as strong(if not stronger) as him.

Make no mistake, I respect Floyd alot and think he's as special a fighter as Manny. But I truly believe Manny can beat him. Ofcourse Floyd can beat him as well and I will give him all the credit in the world if he does. Just think Manny has the edge now.

PS: Anybody who thinks this fight would be an easy one for PBF, is basically admitting and proving the PBF doubters right that Floyd does indeed only cherry-picks fighters he can surely beat. Don't do that brothas, admit that Manny would atleast be competitive.

This is gonna be one hell of a match. If PBF decides to trade with Pac he's gonna get KOed. PBF will have to get on his bike and counter and pick his spots. I believe Pac is just as quick if not quicker than PBF. This will cause problems for PBF in the early rounds, but PBF will adjust to the speed and start timing Pac. The thing with Pac is when you hurt him he gets stronger. PBF will time him and tag him with a counter and pac will trow a flurry of combos in retaliation. It will be a great fight with Pac pulling a split descion.

I don't know and no one knows until we see Mayweather in July. He might be rusty and he has been inactive for a year and a half. I don't know. I will holla back in July on that one.

Man ur a big Mayweather groupie. I saw this all with ur threads yesterday. Why @ WW when Pac is naturally 135? A catch is what they need. Floyd fights @ 47 so losing 3-4 lbs should not hurt him that much. Besides when Floyd enter the ring if they fought he would ballon back up to 47 when his body rehydrates. R U sure ur not that mans wife? Damn ur comments are so stupid sometimes. You want this man to come back after 18 months a fight Pac and have all the leverage. That won't happen. If Floyd is ur so called champ, and I'm just talking u it should not matter what the terms are as long as his weight is not fluctuated that much.

I have said this many, many times but here it goes again.

Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez both look good against come-at-you brawlers. They have the style, speed, and ability to catch them on the way in and make them pay on the way out. Marquez does it by countering and Pacquiao does it by beating the opponent to the punch.

That said they both struggle against counter-punchers. Aside from Marquez how long has it been since Manny Pacquiao has fought a talanted counter puncher? Things will be much different when the Pac-Man steps in with Mayweather. Mayweather will not provide the aggression to feed Pac and if Manny tries to rush or outspeed Mayweather he will get countered with straight right hands just like Marquez did. Pac is a great, great fighter but against Mayweather he is stepping into a stylistic nightmare.

    Mayweather UD 12

Mayweathe is an expert counter puncher, if this fight were at Super Feather I would have said Floyd...UD

but this fight will be at 144....

I reckon Pacman wins a SD on Volume.

Mayweather fights in spurts...and isnt a consistant counter puncher like Marquez, he waits for u to initiate...Marquez does both he forces u to initiate..

Im not saying Marquez is better than Mayweather but styles makes fights.

Also MAnny is a real akward southpaw, with better hand speed than floyd.

Floyd at Superfeather was the best quickest superfeather I have ever seen.

he is alot more conservative now.

    Great matchup

    I say Manny SD

I think Cotto is a more dangerous fight for Manny than Floyd, Cotto can bang and is a superb body punching counter pucnher.

As roach said, that was a one time big time deal. 143-144 is the catchweight so I think it's pretty fair on both of them. He got the the ref, venue and judge. What could you ask for more?
