There should be a question mark at the end of the title but the keyboard I´m using is ****ed.
Hatton can take credit from that win but not that much, as many of us were saying before the fight Castillo is pretty much done, that´s why I believe Hatton agreed to fight him in the first place. Hatton was saying the man was on of the p4p all time greats before the fight :patsch , what a joke. Was Castillo even anywhere neat being a top 5 p4p at any time...question mark.
Got up at 8.30am to watch the fight in an Irish Bar full of Hatton huggers  , I put forward the names of Cotto, Mayweather, Witter and Mosley and only a couple of the huggers had heard of Mosley and nobody of Cotto. These jokers are the ones who believe that Castillo ranks alongside JCC just cos Ricky said so. I don´t see Hatton fighting any elite fighter who ain´t washed up.

I'd guess whether you class Malinaggi as an 'elite' fighter is debatable? Maybe if it suits eh? My guess is Mayweather will be called 'shot' at 31 if Hatton beats him....

If Castillo is done, then so is Witter. Witter has looked like crap for the past 18 months, 18 months ago Castillo KO'd Corrales with one shot.

I was near ringside for Witter-Corley and he was awful, but Corley was even worse hence the result.

He was **** against Lynes too who gave Junior a real tough fight before getting pasted in his next outing against Daws.
I like Witter and I think he will beat Harris, but he is 33 and is as shot as Castillo based on all the evidence.

Why Didnt Any of you Mugs say Kostya was shot BEFORE Hatton smashed his face in. He may of been 35 but did he actualy look like he wasnt still a great fighter during the hatton fight.

You Have More of a point with castillo but if castillo was shot then Hatton Shot him

You out Sucka....Do you see Hatton as elite then? Your post leads me to believe that you think Hatton should be fighting more worthy opponents - which puts him in or very near the elite bracket does it not - he is a world champion after all :think ...
As for the fans not knowing who Cotto was - so what? More fans like that - the more likely we'll get boxing back on the telly as opposed to obscure foreign PPV channels. I agree they can be annoying saying things like ' he's the best in the world no doubt' - but no more annoying than a smart arse who is forever leaning over and correcting you...Like them blokes at football who have a radio glued to their ear - and mention things like ' they'll never beat that off-side trap playing one up front - he's gotta drop deeper'....:tired :tired

    I would like to see Hatton v Cotto - but i couldn't give a **** if i don't tbh :yep

You must be joking Dogyland, right? Please tell me you are!!!

Behind Mayweather, that would be Hattons defining fight. Theres no excuses could be made by the hatton haters if Hatton spanked Floyd or Miguel, & you wouldnt want to see that as a Hatton fan?

This must be a wind up, please tell me it is!

Cotto would be too much for Hatton at 147 i think, I actually think Cotto would give him more problems than Mayweather. Hatton's style depends on fighting on the inside and being stronger than the opponent, kind of bullying them.. He couldnt bully Cotto on the inside, not at 147lbs.

No Dunky - i mean it...I'd like to see it - more than i'd like to see Hatton v PBF - but if i don't - i won't be slagging Hatton off - he's done more plenty to earn my respect.
For boxing reasons i'd love to see him fight Cotto-legacy and all that caper doesn't really bother me. It's not what the sport is about for me - i just like to see good fights.

Personalities and hating or liking a certain fighter for this reason or that is lost on me.

I haven't seen Betty giving Ricky too much credit - anywhere - for totally proving him wrong though on this issue.
