I'd rather show I could actually do something to the opponent, than be outclassed like you don't belong!

yeah but those type of losses are more difficult.... if its a close and then you suddenly get blown out... its hurts to know you were so close but couldnt get over the hump....

you learn more about yourself when you get blown out...losing that way makes you a better person

i was shocked at the second hatton knockdown in the 1st round the punch landed on his glove and he was gone his punch resistance is gone its a shame i was a big fan but now his finished and even if he continues to fight he will be mentally ****ed and it will take a decent punch to finish him

yes Jermain's defeats might be harder to take but surely they give him more hope than Hatton who has to admit he just can't do it? They were both world class fighters, I don't think Hatton can come back to be that anymore hence he is more done in my opinion.

Jermain Taylor beat a peak B Hop twice. He struggled with Froch and Pavs power styles. Thats boxing. He sure as hell isnt done. Hatton on the other hand after near on 50 fights has gone as far as his gravy train can carry him.

    Taylor, by far.

Ricky has two losses in his career against the two best boxers in the sport. No shame in that.

I don't think Hatton in his prime was a B level fighter and JT would not lose to anyone who has power if he finished them off. Imagine what could have been if he finished off Pavlik and Froch when he had them very hurt early.

Hatton. Pacquiao is likely a very solid puncher at 140, but Hatton's reaction to those punches was major cause for concern - and that's not to speak of the shot that Hatton took at the very end there that almost made him swallow his tounge and stop breathing.

I do not think Jermain Taylor is finished. Nearly every fighter has his krypyonite. We have found Jermain's. Hopkins could not beat JT. Winky could not beat JT. Pavlik and Froch beat him. Why? Because an ass whoopin' doesn't mean anything to guys like Pavlik or Froch. Thay keep comin', and comin', and come back for more. At this point, Jermain cannot deal wtih that.
