    1. Allowing himself to blow up in weight between fights
    2. Not expanding his boxing repertoire enough

Basically he's a good boxer and a nice chap who enjoys life a bit too much to be fanatically dedicated, whereas PBF and Pacman go that extra mile and have more natural talent to boot. It's kind of like saying what were Tommy Morrison or Riddick Bowe's two biggest mistakes. Some people just fall slightly short of greatness, usually not quite having enough desire and godly talent to be #1.

Drinking Kool Aide during training camp, and not wearing a football helmet during the fight.

His biggest mistake was coming into the fight believing he was the stronger guy and bumrushing PAC.

He showed no respect for Manny's abilities and paid dearly for it.

as much as i respect hatton as a person and respect his physcial ability and heart, the reality is the biggest mistakes hatton made was 2 things:

    1. believing he always had "underrated boxing skills". maybe early in his career he could make fools of journey men, but against world class and elite level opponents he was reduced to a grabber and hitting in clinches. that literally is all his skills amount too at the top level.

    2. and the other thing. after surviving kostya's flush punches, he truly believed he didn't need to worry about protecting his chin. twice his arrogance bit him in the ass, getting ko'ed BADLY both times.

the talk about dumping those who got him where he is/was is useless. sure frank warren masterfully manuvered him into a shot against a faded champ in kostya, and sure the hometown refs and limited trainers get him far. but the reality is he still would have lost against elite fighters in their prime when you take away clever promoting by warren and the hometown refs.

im just sorry it took his most loyal fans this long to realise he is club level fighter both in skills and boxing IQ, but he admittedly did/does have world class (even elite class) physical tools which, i might add, quickly eroded due to his gatti style punishment and total lack of professionalism inbetween fights and even during training camps when it came to actually LEARNING the basics in boxing.

Everything you just said was a bunch of hot lying bull****. Now you whores go as far as to make **** up. Hatton did not try to box one second of that fight. It was all head first bull****. When he snapped the jab, it landed..lol. Floyd Sr told his stupid ass to settle down and keep his head moving.....he did not do that you ****ing gump. :rofl Somebody queue in the fight clip.
