you a reader of gravity's rainbow? and Hatton deserves to be an a (if not higher for pac) for both fighters as pac went up to meet him and mayweather made ricky come up...and, all this ricky's shot bull**** is getting out of hand; he has ruled 140 for 4 years never losing at the weight 44 and 0 with his previous outing being a beatdown of malignagi, the legitimate contender to his jr. welterweight throne. he is shot in that he shouldn't ever try to climb up the pound for pound ranks, but as a solid champion I think he could still make some noise at 140 and I ain't a fan or anything.
How had he slid? He had a small amount of trouble against a highly motivated career light welter in Lazcano, then absolutely dominated Malinaggi. People discussed this at length before Saturday, and almost nobody said Hatton was past his prime that I saw. Manny was just that completely dominant. IMO, Barrera was way more past prime fighting Manny than Hatton was. A "B" for crushing a virtually prime Hatton in his own natural weight class versus an "A-" for Floyd who fought him at 147? I don't think so. I'd also seriously consider rating Floyd's win over Judah a "B" on your scale. The guy was coming off of a loss to Carlos Baldomir and outside of the Spinks win, has never consistently proven himself at the highest level. Go ahead and make the Mitchell win a "B-" also. Sharmba was shot and fighting above his best weight.
