Hatton not being able to take Pac's punches isn't Mayweather's problem. Mayweather constantly mentioned in every single interview that his plan is to help teach Hatton some defense, though it's only logical to understand that it would take more than two training camps to teach someone who already had 45 fights some defense. Even Ricky his self admitted he did none of that and went back to his roots basically.

Hatton never made a single excuse so far regarding his loss and even in the first interview with him he never said anything to suggest there's ANY excuse. The group behind Hatton seem to a be a bunch of scumbags and excuse making idiots. Why make people hate on Hatton some more?, then you wonder why Hatton is being insulted and complain about it.

First it was the referee about the Mayweather fight, now it's his trainer. Sorry but it was obvious for a long time that Hatton is just not the invincible type of fighter based on his fighting style and number of great opponents available in his weight limit. Of course none of the Hatton fans will mention the REAL disgusting referee at the Tszyu fight but have the nerve to mention Cortez.

He is a good trainer . . . but he should stop the crap of claiming he is the the world's best.

Too much talk . . . doesn't help him prove his point . . . in fact it's exploding right into his own face. :deal

I don't like Mayweather as a trainer. He seems to want to peg everyone into his style, rather than work with them on creating something that will augment their natural talent. You have a slugger like Hatton, you don't waste time teaching him choreographed sessions of patty cake on the mitts. You teach him how he can become better at what he's naturally good at! Floyd Sr. did a good job with his son, but that's because he started him out as a baby!

Mayweather Sr and Ricky Hatton never had any business together. There were several threads and polls for the sake of opinion here that indicated as much before this fight ever took place, lest anyone think this is a new development.

How he ruin DLH ??? He was with him for years !!!!! DLH ruin himself !!!! Hatton did not do a good job against mayweather at all. He pretty much got outclass that night and KO. Pacquiao is an offesensive fighter and Mayweather is a defensive fighter. Two different styles !

Do you remember the vargas fight,,,DLH was getting beat some what in the begining, trying a bunch of new defensive stuff with vargas, using the ropes as i remember, well from there, DLH got into his old style, an began to beat his ass,,,,to me DLH stopped being the boxer he was under SR. ....an yea mayweather is defensive, but i really do believe the ref had alot to do with the outcome, diffrent ref, a diffrent night, the first 5 rounds were a tough one for mayweather (tougher then what zab put him threw),,pacman did a great job, not saying he does not come out ahead, but i think it would of been a better fight without a parasite like Sr. in his corner..
Should of kept his hold trainer, would of been better for him

No trainer was going to change Hatton, what Hatton should of done is switched trainers years ago.

Hatton should of employed Kevin Rooney, the peek-a-boo defense would of done wonders for Hatton.
