Korobov was good... but his opponent was not.

    Soto fight was good.

It's hard to enjoy a fight that is just 1 fighter totally dominating someone he is expected to dominate anyways. There needs to be some danger to make a good fight.

I will be suprised if it tops 1 million US buys.....

......like already has been mentioned, Arum is a manipulator......he's making sure to hype Pacquiao's name right now for future business.....

......but my feeling is that the numbers being tossed around right now are for both US and UK buys combined, and it just Arum trying to manipulate the media into writing in the papers that Pac is now the next DLH.

Just heard on ESPN the reports of the early figures.......

.....it was said, Pacquiao-Hatton is said will surpass 1 milllion buys US....then the commentator corrected himself by saying nonchalantly, "World wide as a matter of fact."

I truly believe that the US sales will not even come close to 1 million buys......

Is that total buys or just US buys? Cause thats between 90 and 120 million:admin And these guys were only garunteed 8 and 12 a piece? **** I hope they get a huge chunck of whatever the split will be. Cause after all they are the ones putting their asses on the line.

And I imagine that the Uk buys would have been pretty strong too. SO you can add in another 12 mil at least and holly **** this fight made a lot of money.

This makes soo much more sense.

But it just goes to show you howmuch more money you could stand to make if you are an american supperstar as opposed to a foriegn one.

Korobov was good to watch. Soto was pretty boring, he could clearly hurt the guy with every punch, the other guy couldn't hurt him yet he couldn't finish him. He had no sense of killer instinct in him at all. It was almost frustrating to watch, he could have gotten the guy out inside 3 rounds had he thrown his hands more. Solid fighter but I dont see the hype around him. They say he's like a young Erik Morales...Morales prime was a menace.

With the current economy, to reach even 1mil would be fantastic. Floyd-JMM fight is coming up, the numbers for that fight would be telling as to who is the true superstar and deserves more %.

    Exactly!

The winner of JMM-Mayweather would be in line to match Pacquiao next......and if JMM-Mayweather does more US PPV's than Pac-Hatton, then the winner of the respective PPV's will be inline to demand more money than the other.

......thats right if JMM-Mayweather sells more US PPV's than Pac-Hatton, even if its JMM the winner against Mayweather, he will be inline to demand more money than Manny Pacquiao to the freaking cries of the Moron that is Bob Arum!

I dont agree with you......but regardless....lets say Mayweather beat JMM and his fight does more PPV sales than Pac-Hatton.....do you deem it right that Mayweather demand the larger share of the purse????

yes.. in the first place PBF is the draw in this fight with jmm. secondly, being the american who's PPV is mostly in the states, PBF has the bargaining power than pac. he can have extra but not much.

if jmm gets this fight, unfortunately he wont get the bigger purse. he's not the main draw.. pac will carry him. although their fight will be a hit for sure.

Then the Mayweather-Pac fight wont get made.......Arum is already on record stating that Pac is the draw, not Mayweather.....

.....looks like a deal breaker to me!
