i dont know guy.....Floyd has come up from a lower weight as well maybe not as low but he has jumped his share of divisions and beat champions while doing so and being the smaller guy at times.
JMM & his team are smart...they were willing to get 15 mil to fight someone he really doesnt have a chance against... knowing he will get to fight pac win or lose anyways... smart move

Can't see how he beats Mayweather. I just don't see him causing many problems looking at the styles at play. If he wins 3 or 4 rounds and lasts the distance he's done a great job.
According to Mayweather Hatton was the toughest fight of his career. JMM is far and away much better than Hatton. It will be a tougher fight but Mayweather comes out the victor imo.
Mayweather didn't seek this fight. Marquez is the one who called him out and Golden Boy initiated disscussions. I think people should be focusing more on Marquez's willingness to challenge himself as well as the intrigue surrounding this fight instead of bashing Mayweather. How many times have people suggested that Floyd should fight Pavlik? Would as many people here be bashing Pavlik if Floyd publically called him out and initiated disscussionsof a possible fight? Seriously, I've seen plenty of people bash Mayweather after a fight between he and Wright fell apaprt. Floyd was scheduled to go up two weight classes for that fight. Size is definately an issue here, but not as much of an issue as some are making it out to be.
by the way did anyone see mark wahlberg jumping about like a lil girlie man when hatton hit the deck? a fully flegded ******* he is, who can blame him. also jack nicholson was looking real pissed everytime hatton got hit.
I hope Marquez beat the **** out of little Floyd so we can see what the fans really want...A third fight against PacMan....
