I was totally over the moon about lindsays win he was superb and paul showed he was well out of his league, and i agree simpson was not himself on the appleby fight and should still have the british belt, but thats how boxing goes, win some lose some :-( So what do we think? Great fight, what is the 3rd belt? European? I think I would have to pick Simpson on points but Lindsay has surprised me in his last 2 fights
I said on another thread/forum I thought Simpson would beat Lindsay. He has the experience that young Paul lacked and would use this to his advantage. At 21 years old Paul will most certainly return to boxing a better fighter. What he had already achieved for a fighter so young was superb. Simpson beats lindsay on points 8-4
but did you also not say on another thread that applleby would have to much for lindsay also:yep...lindsay-simpson is a great fight...thats get it on...but lindsay would win widely on points
yeah the european as there is 3 belts at stake i think this fight will go ahead depending on johns next defence for the commenwealth next month excitement possible trip to belfast :happy
believe u me fightin in belfast is no fun at all the excitement will soon go out the window the second u step into the venue , lindsays fans are very very passionate some more than others wouldnt mind seein lindsay come to scotland to fight but cant see that ever happenin but would like to be proved wrong , all the best for u simpson .
