Agree, both DLH and Hatton were shot fighters. Pac loses his next fight.

Manny is a fantastic fighter and currently pound for pound top dawg but lets face it if Hatton actuallly had a boxing brain and listened to simple instructions he would have lasted a lot longer. If you hang your chin out and have your hands down to your chest obviously a devastating fighter like Manny will KUTFO! Its not rocket science. Lets see how Manny adapts to a defensive genious in Mayweather and a half man half beast in Cotto. I'm not saying he cant win and I'm not discrediting his wins against De La Hoya and Hatton but lets face it they weren't exactly hard to hit or coming back with anything. Lets see if he stays on his feet if he gets a shot from Cotto or PBF.

Wrong on many levels, it's hard where to start--prolly just a troll who wants some lovin'.:smooch

The Armstrong portion is worth a decent incision: Armstrong had and will always be great, no question. But many people, who dwell too much in the past, (most idiots do ;) ) often missed and enjoy the beauty that is the present, unfolding right before their eyes. Yes, Armstrong was great (we heard, we read about it, and if lucky, had seen some black-and-white fuzzy tapes of his fights). But have you idiots seen a lot of fights and was able to get a first-hand feel of the era to accurately assess and compare it to the present so as to say it was an "INSULT" to draw some valid measure of parallelism to Pac?!? PRECISELY!

When writers and people today mention the great and venerable Homicide Hank in regards to Pacquiao, they are simply drawing parallels in the area of multi-divisional hopping--not equating. Past is never equal the Present, vice versa.

As to Hank's simultaneous multi-division titles, that is not possible today anymore without one of them ******ed soup bodies stripping you of your title...

Stop living in the past (something in your post, [ie. juvenile?], tells me you're only 15 anyways) :good. Appreciate the greatness unfolding right before your eyes, who knows you may not be able to live long enough to see another. Romancing the past is good, but in your case, it is plain dumb. :smooch

I am 15 huh? You are in no position to challenge my expertise in the boxing world. I have worked with world champions and contenders. I have experience in both management and training. I have worked with fighters from the amateurs all the way to world title fights. Oscar was shot, and weight drained, adn Ricky has been on the slide since he beat Tsyzu. Not to mention "match making" is an art. Thats why every big promotional company has an individual whose sole repsonsibility is match fighters so as to give them some sort of an advantage.
I said it before, and I will say it again. Manny lost to Morales, and his victories over Marquez are both debateable. He has not even proven himself to be the best on the lower weight classes.

pac is an atg. what he has done in the last year and a half is a testament to his greatness. he was already a hof after the 2nd barrera fight. now he has fought in 4 weight divisions against champs linear champs and hofs, and has dismantled them. give credit where its due. what we are witnessing is truely amazing.

He most definitely is a great fighter, but not based on the victories over Oscar, and Ricky. His greatest achievements were at the lower weights. That being said he did lose to Morales, and both his victories over Marquez are debatable at best.

You have to realize this is not just the *******s defending Manny's honor. It the majority of the PBF fans, Cotto fans, and Mexi fans, just boxing fans in General. I have a feeling you are a bigger hater than you are a fan. You just have to give it up. Resistance is futile. The man deserves his props. He is one of the greats.

LOL....just stop. It was an exceptional win all things considered. Perfect matchmaking has NOTHING to do with this guy. He fights anyone who is at the top! Just b/c he destroys these guys isn't b/c of matchmaking...it's b/c he put in work and got the job done. Hatton has Only been down 5 times! Once by Magee, once by Floyd and 3 times by PAC. Get a grip bro.....Hatton hasn't been visibly hurt every time since the KT fight. You makeing **** up just for the sake of argueing.

He was handpicked. It had nothing to do with skill or if Manny could knock him out within 2. Nothing to do with that whatsoever. Hatton was hand picked because he could make people the most money and he the reason why he brings that kind of money making power is because most of us saw him as a legitimate great opponent and champion.
