If Torres & Judah can hurt Cotto, surely Pacman can knock him out?

This thread is half a serious comment (as I do think this is possible), and half just to annoy my mate El-Matador :D

You can tell from his posts he is starting to get just a little nervous about the Pacman coming for his boy!!!

    Am I right El? :think

What do you guys think about Pac v Cotto? I think it would be a STORMING fight! :bbb

maybe at 140 he would have his chance but at 147 cotto looks more favourable? but with Pac i will give him a chance in that too, seriously he can mix it up with any1 at 140 and 147

What weight do you think they'd come in at 147?

Pac can win this one, I can't believe its come to the point where he'd potentially give anyone a good fight at welter.

I aint one of these that after a fighter has one good fight i think he an atg p4p god.
But honestly atm i think it is more than possible pac wins.
I agree cotto is physically stronger but i think pac has more pop to his punches.
If cotto can take pacs best he could wear him down but atm i dont think cotto could take his best, and cotto aint the type of fighter who aint guna get caught.
But still a hell of a fight that could go either way

Turning the thread title on its head if cotto can take mosely punches for 12 rounds surely he can take pacs.

TBH though i wouldn't totally rule it out, espicially if it is at a catchweight of say 143. The main reason cotto was so hurt at 140 was he was weight drained to ****, i don't think he can comfortably make 143, if the fight is at 147 i favour cotto(not by much though)

Cotto has a good enough jab to negate some of pacquaio speed and has prettydamn fast hands himself. I fell he can box well enough to take advantage of some of the little errors that pac makes like JMM was able to. He doesn't need to get in and on top of pacquaio and go into his destructive path to win the fight much like hatton did, cotto can stick to the outside for the most part and beat manny IMO.

Cotto's chin has been holding up at 147. Remember he fought Mosely and just got plastered by margarito.

Cotto never clinches, this will allow Pac to keep away from Cotto all night darting in and out. Pac has an amazing ability to close and create gap between him and his opponent, he can literally cross half the ring with 1 leap with that insane ability to throw that left and end up behind his opponent.

I think he will be too fast for Cotto. Hatton only caught Pac when he grabbed him.

Floyd is the much tougher test and I think Mosley is a strong favourite. I would favour him over Cotto though.

Yeah, Cotto has good defence too.

On the other hand, Oscar wasn't a real test because he was shot.
After that everybody thought that Hatton would be Manny's first real test. But Hatton fought extremely stupid and in the end wasn't really a test either imo!

I think against Mosley Pac stands a chance because of his speed and movement.
Against Floyd I see Pac losing a UD.
And against Cotto I see Cotto winning because he's a good bigger man and Pac a good smaller man.

Cotto chin is way above average. And beside it won't be the same Cotto we seen as the previous fights.

Cotto is still a threat to Manny.

torres is a deamonic puncher when he faced cotto back then. right now it he may not look like it, but back then he's a 1 punch knockout artist.

although with zab judah, delivering that perfectly timed uppercut after cotto missed, pac can do that also
