He spars, he hits the heavy bag and mitts, he does road work, things like that.

Well that and a few toughening up exercises, all related to bricks.

I'm pretty sure I remember reading or watching he does a lot of sparring where they throw in a new fresh opponent for him in between rounds to mix things up and keep up his intensity.

I saw that they were offering his sparring partners a few grand if they could KO him to keep up the intensity.

but remember consistent training makes for the best fighter. train a lot and train long.

I heard a rumour that someone beat him on the body with a stick to destroy nerve endings

Pacquiao does most of the same training that is common among boxers. The difference is the level of intensity that he brings to his training.

Exactly and he brings the same intensity every day, and he always pushes himself beyond the limits in the gym. Honestly when I was at Wildcard, and Pacquiao would show up, the whole damn gym would throw as if they were all feather weights, he just brings that kind of energy to the gym he makes you want to try harder.

cant be gud for the ribs, but each to their own.

anyway the bamboo stick hitting to the body is a mental exercise, makes the brain adapt to the pain so when u get hit in the ring u remain focus on the fight.

It doesn't make your body any stronger.
