    thats hard to say....
if floyd is a cherry picker by fighting baldomir?
why cant manny be a cherry picker by fighting oscar? @ an un-natural weight

im not taking away from his accomplishments or anything of the sort.... all im saying is if your going to call one a cherry picker.... you cant in the same breath call the next man "God"

Hatton weighed the same on fight night as he did against Malignaggi, and msot likely Pacquiao too. THe wieght was of no difference.

Marquez called out Mayweather moved to a weight suitable for him and Floyd. He even said he's just gonna add 4 pounds. Floyd like Marquez when challenging somebody accomadated their weight. As with Floyd fighting Oscar at his most comfortable weight.

    all im saying is that..

if someone is calling floyd a cherry picker
    and
calling manny a god & modern day henry armstrong

    its totally unfair...

either they both are boxing gods
    or neither of em are

They aren't even the same...... :patsch

I asked why DLH isn't considered a cherry pick? That was nothing but a money fight for Floyd and a bogus belt.

Manny has a better resume than Floyd, end of story. Floyd fans can spin it however they want, but anyone with a good knowledge of boxing knows Manny has a clear edge on resume. Nice try though.

your missing my point... its a 2 way road...

if oscar is a "cherry pick" for floyd
then david diaz should be a "cherry pick" for manny as well

if oscar " IS NOT" a "cherry pick" for floyd
then david diaz should not be a "cherry pick" for manny either

im just saying they should be viewed equally... the fact that manny tko'd his opponents & floyd decisioned his shouldnt have anything to do with how the wins are viewed

"This was a fight that should have been won. Oscar was able achieved a great physical condition during his training. I am a witness that he did not have problems with his weight and he was not dried out from the vapors [of a sauna]. During that time he had a nutritionist by his side who took charge of his weight and diet. But at the time of the fight he couldn't do things well. He couldn't deal with the versatility of Pacquiao," Nacho said.

Nacho will say anything as to not admit he sent a Heroin addict into the ring. Oscar looked like an Ethiopian baby. I wanted to call Unicef

Man you would have to be very biased and have a preconceived objective to not see a
    difference.

In Pacs last four fights he was in four different weight classes. He dominated all of them except Marquez who is the legit number 2 p4p.

He was a rightful underdog against Hoya and every excuse in the book won't change the fact that the Oscar Floyd fight was verysame to the one Floyd fought which is when Roach realized Oscar couldn't pull the trigger.

Not to mention a year ago no one felt Pac woul be effective at anything over super feather.

I think so many people get so upset because they thought they were in the midst of an atg in Floyd but meanwhile steady working improving and fighting the best was Pac the true King.

Pac has pushed himself to limits no one could believe while Floyd has not lived up to his expectations.

Because the cherry picker in this fight was Oscar. Oscar was actually the cherry picker against Mayweather too, because if I recall he had all sorts of demands of how large he wanted the ring and what gloves to wear, etc. In the end, both fights were made because of the money involved, but I credit Pacquiao's willingness to fight De La Hoya more because on paper he had very little to no chance to win. Realistically, on paper Oscar had a decent chance to win both, in fact everyone including myself had picked Oscar to beat Pacquiao as opposed to Oscar Vs Mayweather, many favored Mayweather because they knew Oscar was past it. It just happened to be that the Oscar that showed up against Mayweather performed better than the one that showed up against Manny. Is it Manny's fault De La Hoya made a horrible decision by agreeing to fight at the lower weight, or that he didn't rehydrate himself appropriately?

i did compare the wrong fight... my mistake

david diaz title fight = odlh/baldomir fight
odlh title fight = odlh/baldomir fight
    hatton fight = hatton fight

they should all be viewed equally...thats all im saying

where did i say anything about "RESUME".....

I'm Talking about the fighters past 3 fights
