Since '89. 1. Roy Jones Jr. 2. Pernell Whitaker 3. Floyd Mayweather Jr. 4. Bernard Hopkins 5. Shane Mosley 6. Mike Tyson 7. Oscar De La Hoya 8. Virgil Hill 9. Riddick Bowe 10. Arturo Gatti I like the top eight. The last two were kinda shaky. Hope I didn't miss an obvious choice.
Whitaker Jones Jr Mayweather (can possibly switch with Roy & soon and maybe get to #1) Hopkins Holyfield Mosley De La Hoya (technically) Tyson Toney Forrest
I would say... 1. Whitaker 2. Holyfield 3. Mayweather 4. Hopkins 5. Mosley 6. DeLaHoya 7. Jones 8. Toney 9. Wright 10. Hmmm... Nunn?
in no particular order Roy Jones Pernell Whitaker Oscar DeLeHoya Floyd Mayweather Jr. Evander Holyfield Bernard Hopkins Mosley Jones Forest Wright
I'm not certain that an 89+ version of Tyson makes this list (Make it 25 years and his chances go up), and even so I would place Holy above him.
Nice list, I want to complain about 9 & 10 (It can't be?), but can't offer any alternatives off the top of my head!
Roy Jones Pernell Whitaker Oscar DeLeHoya Tyson Mosley Floyd Mayweather Jr. Evander Holyfield Bernard Hopkins Forest Wright
My thoughts exactly. We'd have to stretch this list back about 25 years, and even then his chances are slim, because then you would also have to include the likes of Duran, Hagler, Hearns, Leonard, Holmes, Prior, etc.
1.Mayweather 2.Toney( this is wishful thinking, i really liked toney for some reason, what a dissappointment, he could have been so great.) 3.Whitaker 4.DeLeHoya 5.Tyson(the tyson that beat berbick) 6.Whitaker 7.Jones jr. 8.Bowe 9.Hopkins 10. Wright 11.Holyfield 12.Butterbean
1. Whittker 2. Mayweather 3. Jones Jr 4. Hopkins 5. Holyfield 6. De La Hoya 7. Mosley 8. Wright 9. Toney 10. Norris
