Manny, more prime fighters at their prime weights (unlike winky, trinidad delahoya etc).
Bhops is still one of the best around though.

don't be stupid, pacquiao's before hatton was fed on over the hill mexican ATG (even hatton was not in his prime) and although he didn't get the credit for the de la hoya win especially after what people were saying before the fight, he's improved exceptionally as before he was just a fast brawler and now almost a complete fighter, hopkins has a much better resume..heck, i think that trinidad win beats anything on pacquiao's resume

Trinidad carried his power to middleweight division. De La Hoya still had his speed and Winky never had punching power any way so it would it would of always came down to skills.

Pacman and it's not even close. He moves up in weight to challenge HOF caliber fighters and beat them. Hopkins either beat fighters moving up in weight or lost to the HOF caliber fighters that he fought

get out of his backside. In my post i said his resume is still one of the best around and im a bhop fan, i just feel pacs is stronger.

I dont know why you made the poll if you were expecting everyone to agree with you?

I just notice people don't give him respect on these boards, that's all.

This one is close. If Pacquiao has defeated hall of fame fighters then so has Hopkins. Trinidad, Wright, and De La Hoya. Hopkins has also defeated Tarver (who was the champion) and Pavlik.

Pac destroys ATG/HOF fame fighters moving up in weight. Hopkins outclasses fighters coming up in weight to face him and he has lost to every good same sized man he has fought. On top of that he is a 6 division champ, 4 lineal across 10 divisions.

Tito could always be outboxed. IMO DLH & Wright outclassed him too. The fact that Hopkins was a very good boxer, had ATG chin and the bigger man gave him every possible advantage in this fight, not just by size but from a stylistic POV too.

ODLH arguably lost to Sturm and has never achieved anything at MW.

Wright has never achieved anything at LHW and was clearly past it and looked blown up.

Pavlik never achieved anything at SMW.

Hopkins is great due to his longevity. The fact that he's lost to every elite hes fought that was in his weight class, RJJ, Taylor*2 & Calzaghe hurts him a bit.
