I've got absolutely nothing personal against Hatton, I just can't stop drooling over what a masterful piece of boxing that was. If that makes me a *******, f*ck it.
Masterful? Boxing?....no my friend that **** was just a high caliber ass whooping, a one sided bar fight But ****... I lost count of how many times I replayed it, not the whole fight but jusst the KO, had to of seen it atleast 50 times, what a bomb he landed
I had my arrow on the computer at the exact same point on youtube and watched Hatton get flattend at least 100 times straight today
Pacquiao just outclassed this guy. I mean Ricky is not just another fighter but a true champion and for someone to do this to him is just amazing. To me it's not the punches that landed but the follow up combination. Hatton gets hit and he see like 4-5 big bombs coming from everywhere. Although they didn't find the mark, Ricky heart has to be beating.
5-10 times. Not so much the KO but how Pac handled Hatton, Hatton didnt land a single punch other than the ones when he was grabbing. I love studying fighters and the way he moved around him, landed his combinations and the way Hatton felt every punch was beautiful.
a part of me wonders that had hatton lasted a few more seconds (the ko came with just 1 second left of round 2), the fight may have gone on for a bit longer. a part of me thinks he handled pac until the closing seconds of round 2 and had he got through the round and had some more words from mayweather sr., things may have been different. damn.
I'm a Hatton fan. Even though I picked Pacquiao to win, I haven't rewatched it once. And I don't think I will.
Everyone talks about Hatton and his body shots but watch the body shot from Pacquiao moments before the Left Hook that destroyed Hatton. Hatton wouldn't last past 5 rounds with the punches he was taking.
I keep watching it just to try and understand why Hatton employed zero defence but I just keep getting the same angry feelings. I could take a Hatton lost but the way he lost was so unnecessary. Hands up, chin tucked in and plenty of head movement would have made his KO less brutal.
