It might be but a fight with Mayweather would generate FAR more interest and money, that's what counts.

There's the difference between the two fighters right there.

Pac lets his hands go if he's comfortable or not - Damn the torpedo's

Not really, Bazooka was never known to be a Mayweather hugger at all, if anything both me and him had a lot of discussions about Mayweather/Margarito and he was on Margarito's side.

Arum is acting like a dickhead here and I just can't see anyone backing him up when he says he MIGHT be ignoring this fight. People want this fight and want it badly, they have been asking for it and making rumors about it POSSIBLY happening since Pacquiao/Morales III believe it or not. Of course back then people laughed at the idea but look how hot it is now, can't allow a fat ass greedy ******* ruin it.

Mayweather's return has a Pacquiao fight written ALL over it, it can't be more obvious than that really. Especially with him picking Marquez, a popular Pacquiao foe, not just that but Marquez has also been talking a lot of smack about Pacquiao lately DEMANDING that Pacquiao fights him and even hinting that Pac is scared of him. Mayweather accepting to fight him is like Pacquiao fighting Hatton/DLH(last two Mayweather opponents) and destroying them. Mayweather is trying to make a statement in similar fashion.

    By Manny's standard, it's the Pac-MAB II.

I woud insist on this fight if I were Arum, Roach and Pac and heres why.

A victory for Pac will put him in the same level as SRR. The GOAT!!! Mark that down.

Its a no lose situation, Pac might very well lose but he wont lose big.

Meanwhile Mosley or maybe Cotto might put a hurting on Pac. This would hurt Pacs image.

Arum doesn't really givea damn about legendary status, it's all about the money and he just CAN'T find a bigger fight than this right now. I am sure this fight would make even more than DLH/Mayweather.

Arum knows the business. He also knows that letting it simmer ain't all that bad either. I wouldn't be surprised if he has Manny signed before Mayweather fights. Expect Freddy Roach to be living with tape for the the next few months.

You obviously have not been on ESB very long so I forgive you, if you have been here long enough you must have recently learned how to read.

Exactly and Mayweather has always gotten the shitty end of the stick from me.

Of course I am, when I started at Wildcard prior to Barrera Pacquiao, Roach told me that if Manny works hard enough he will go down as a bigger ATG than Salvador Sanchez, so my expectations of him are very high, but you have to also understand Manny got a draw with Marquez and lost to Morales while I was at Wildcard so the man has let me down, especially after I repeated what Roach told me here.
