Seems clear to me that no matter who he beats haters will still be mad that he beat their boyfriends. I can already see it.

If he beats Cotto then Cotto was past it after the beating from Margo (possible weight drain excuses if the fight is at a catch weight)

If he beats Floyd they will say FLoyd was past it (especially if floyd struggles with JMM)

    Mosley past prime

JMM will be past prime after getting beat by floyd

Now that he has moved up in weight a fight with Valero would be cherry picking a smaller guy. Does he really have to go all the way to 154 and beat paul williams to get the respect he deserves?

Manny has gotten a shitload of respect. You can't expect everyone to like him though. Every person in the public eye is going to have at least a handful of people that will be critical of them. What more do you want? What would have to happen for you to believe that Manny gets enough respect?

It happens with every boxer, you have people who like him and also you have people who dont like him. Its comes with a territory. Me, personally I love the way he fights and think he will carry the torch in the sport for the next several years IF he continues to fight the way he does.

Nobodys because all the haters will never respect him. All we can do is show them the picture of Pac in the ring with all these legends on the canvas. The only one not down was Oscar sitting the the corner too scare to come out for the 9th. Maybe Hatton may have been added by now too. If someone have that picture please post it up for all the haters.

Anybody who hates Pacquiao and won't give him his due at this point is beyond redemption and so should be considered beyond our care.

I agree. I still hold a grudge deep down inside no matter how childish it sounds. But how can anyone really hate Pac? If you hate Pac then you're not really a fan of boxing.

Agreed. Pacman is the best fighter of the last quarter century. If he beats Mayweather he should be considered among the 10 best boxers of all time.
