If Pavlik does not fight Williams or A.A. next I'll be disappointed. I don't think Arum has much faith in him after the Hopkins fight.

    Arum is the devil.

    But he ain't stupid.

He knows his fighters' limitations better than some of the fighters themselves, and definitely better than their ****ing fans. That's why certain fights that make sense just don't get made...

Nah. He took his ball and went home cuz I wouldn't play by his rules. Call it catch weight, but a fight between 142+ and 147 IS WW. Not even open for discussion or dispute unless you are an idiot.

Kept saying all the other WW CAN'T fight Floyd now cuz they have unfinished business. :patsch

Mora is a JMW for having two fights in his career at JMW and being drained but Marquez isn't a featherweight because he was "planning on moving up". Only 1.5 division difference? :rofl

Ignored my basic points and threw up enough verbage to try and confuse the issue. My point was and remains, Mayweather fans have no stone to throw when it comes to cherry picking fights. Period. How obvious does it have to be that Mayweather is going for a weight advantage in this fight? How is that different from going for a skill advantage? Yeah, JMM is #2 p4p with only 2 fights at 135. Want to compare on a percentage basis how much difference there will be in weights between Mora/Pavlik and Mayweather/Marquez come fight night? Yet Scar kept with the JMW crap.

Scar did not adequately justify that but you are welcome now that he gave up.

So on a straight up level (not considering losing belts and what not) Arum thought Pavlik could beat Hopkins but not Abraham? :huh

Regardless A.A. or Williams has to happen soon

Everyone and their grandmother thought Pavlik could beat Hopkins! Everyone! Hopkins looked old and slow against JoeC (credit to Joe) but when he went in there and showed just how limited Pav was, Arum immediately backed off.

"Nothing but tomato cans from now on for you, son!"

Blinders are standard issue in rural areas like Aiken down there I guess? Pavlik's physical condition played into it. I'm not saying Kelly would have won, but it would have been a lot more competitive.

I think that even prior to the Hopkins-Pav fight that Arum would have thought Hopkins was a tougher fight than A.A.....

Like I said, when Pav grows the nuts to fight PW, yo will see all of Aiken in the house.

Not at all, I've been an Abraham fan since he fought Eastman and reported of this fight right here on ESB and recommended that many watch it. A friend of mine on the forum(AliBoss) is the one who told me about Abraham.

Got that backwards. Paul had his chance and was never heard from again. That's documented. :deal

Paul was never heard from?, Paul talks in the ring and his recent fight is a good enough example really and at Middleweight. It's Pavlik who showed zero interest and Arum the one who openly stated "WE WON'T NEGOTIATE WITH THEM AGAIN NOT FOR MARGARITO AND NOT FOR PAVLIK". That came right after the ass whopping Hopkins handed to Pavlik. It's not Goossen and Paul who backed off. :deal
