Kelly throws a lot of punches normally. He could tire Bute into a mistake late just like Andrade did, maybe even quicker.
"Right Now" is the key statement in my opinion. If KP moved up and went straight at Bute, that would probably be a mistake. If he moved up the right way by adding the 8 pounds the right way, and then fought a couple good tune-ups, with one being a southpaw, I'd have to reconsider.

Bute has low stamina, a problem that you can not solve in the gym (see Jermain Taylor). Pavlik on the other hand has almost endless stamina, similar to Margarito, and would probably stop Bute in the late rounds.
No he doesn't. He went 12 plenty of times without trouble.With Andrade it happened once in the last seconds. Yusaf Mack has stamina problems.

He was getting tired plus getting hit flush 2nd half of the fight obviously added to his stamina deficiency. Andrade has one of the best chins in boxing and if you watched the fight closely, the first half of the fight, Bute was relentless to hurt him and I think that is when the stamina issue came about in the later rounds.
Boo this is an off topic question but do you really think aa pav showdown in November. I was thinking about this fight after reading some posts today and was wondering if either fighter would take on a pwill or sturm before each other?
You do realize when I say ''he went 12 plenty of other times'' I mean other fights right? With Andrade he got tired at the end yes.But he was throwing punches and combos like crazy and getting hit to much in a clinch. He unloaded everything but the kitchen sink in the 10th late in the fight without problem.That's what probably caused it.
I am not saying anything about Bute, just pointed out the andrade fight and that is all thunder, I like Bute and you pretty much pointed out what I did when I wrote he fought someone with a p4p chin and was tiring out in the 2nd half of the fight after trying to hurt andrade in the first 6 7 rounds.
And I pointed out it was a one thing deal.It has never happened before or after. A guy like Yusaf Mack has stamina problems,he gets tired every fight.Taylor has them too.
AA and Pav are in negotiations according to all reports. Someone close to the situation causally said that they thought after "Pav fights AA in November........" Doesn't mean it will happen, but AA and KP both want this fight.
