Why not. Just make sure he doesn't force Froch to move up, that'd be unfair to the British fighter. Hopkins should fight him for his SMW title, something missing from his collection. He'll never fight Kessler or Dawson, Adamek might have been too much to be honest, so I'm cool with the fight.

I wonder why Hoppy hasn't considered a fight at 168. I mean we all know he's got some issues with consistent fighting over 12 rounds at 160 and 175 these days so...why not settle on the middle ground?

    Makes too much sense?

Like Apollo Creed said "there ain't gonna be no rematch." There's nothing for Hopkins to gain from it.

The Froch fight is extremely likely. Hopkins would love to take another "0" as well as add another title from a new weight division.

The fact that he is already 46 . . . people cannot complain who ever he's fighting next.

Boxing fans should be happy he is still fighting and still inside the top 10 best fighter's list . . . except of course the haters. :deal

I know he's been duckin' that man Chad Dawson like he's the plague. Gunnin' for Adamek, Froch, anybody but that young lion Bad Chad.

Hmmm. I think people are writing Froch off too quickly in this one.

Hopkins is clearly the more skilled fighter but he is fighting two opponents, Froch and Age, and only one of them has to beat him that night for Hops to lose.

Plus you can start digging into all the anomalies in the last few Hopkins bouts and convince yourself that Froch can win, and you can do it without sounding ridiculous.

Hops would make Froch come up to 75 I would be surprised and impressed if he did not but even if Hops takes the fight at all at any weight its impressive due to his advanced ancient age.

I don't know who I would take but if Froch was a big under dog I think it would be hard not to make at least a small bet on him.

I think its a mistake to confidently think of him as some over rated chinny vulnerable slow guy that the Master BHop can exploit.

But who knows. If I have a real strong opinion on a fight I bet on it, if not, I don't.
