Tyson is bigger and faster. Dempsey has more heart and in my opinion is a better boxer. So I think, unlike you, Dempsey might get there a little later in the fight. But yeah, probably Tyson KO3!

Tyson take this one quickly. Hate to sound like someone from General, but Tyson was in most cases like an improved prototype of Dempsey. Bigger, faster, more technically developed and more powerful. Dempsey might well have been the mentally tougher of the two, but in this match-up this doesn't really become a factor.
You all have it all wrong Dempsey would outbox Tyson frustrating him. Tyson will of course pee his pants and quit on his stool in the 9th round. Ok enough with the sarcasism (for now). Tyson is bigger stronger and faster (I seem to say this a lot in posts about Tyson in these prime for prime match ups because it is true.) than Dempsey. Dempsey might have the toughness to carry him farther than the first three rounds but not much farther. Tyson with in 5 rounds.
I just wonder how Mike would react to getting hit with the Dempsey bombs so early and often. Jack was a vicous puncher. I understand the bigger and faster argument for Tyson though. What a great fight it would be.
Dempsey...overall, better conditioned, better mental makeup, every bit as fast, could go several rounds, wasnt above chasing a man down, could actually box when required of him he wasnt just a brawler.... Tyson....bigger, stronger, better defense... Both could take punishment, but I give Dempsey an edge... Hard prediction to make, but it ends when the first real FLUSH shot lands.
Tyson would stop Dempsey early. I really don't think that its a good idea to give up 25-30lbs to Mike, and be slower. Tyson KO3
