I am totally convinced if Khan beats Kotelnik

i think Hatton-Katsidis is a much better proposition so long as ricky still has a bit of punch resistance its got fight of the year written all over it

Agreed I want to see Hatton retire but part of me wants him to fight Katsidis.Something tells me he will fight once more in England,maybe even Wembley for the chance to go out on a high and put another £10m+ in the bank

Khan over Katsidis would be the smarter choice. I'm assuming Katsidis brings less money to the table, and definitely more trouble. He can properly hurt Hatton, while Khan is not likely to do any serious damage (sure, he can get a TKO, possibly through a flurry, but most probably won't have Ricky badly hurt).

Also, most people in the UK don't even know who Katsidis is.

 

I was convinced JC was going to do that in Cardiff because you know, they LOVE their fans so much. But Im more cynical now.

 

No one knew Lazcano.

I'd like to see a Katsidis fights, he's one of my favourite fighters at the moment.

Does anybody think Hatton would fight Khan??They know one another and have become friends.Would Hatton want to lose domestic supremacy which is something he still has a claim to after losing his spot at the top of the 140lb division.I don't know personally

 

problem is Victor Ortiz and Madiana are fighting for the interim version, Khan will no doubt be forced to defend against Ortiz first. He would get wrecked, so i see him vacating and moving down to fight Paulus Moses (WBA regular title) or the winner of Romanov-Angulo (IBF title).

 

I thought Khan might vacate at first because of potential defences he'd have to make but don't think he'll go back down I thought he struggled with the weight hence the move upto 140

 

well how will he do it, break it down and tell us why your so convinced?

i think he'll be in a live and death fight with kotelnik, but i'll reserve my analysis/prediction till it gets close

 

This is all totally academic, because Kotelnik will stop Khan.

Hatton should just retire, its embarassing that he is even now being mentioned in the same sentance as Khan. This means he is dropping down a level and is now in effect "The gatekeeper fighter".

Khan would smash him to pieces if they ever met, because Hatton has lost his hunger and his punch resistance.
