Don't get me wrong, Hatton got KOed and Pacquiao was a superman that night but that doesn't change what happened behind the scenes: I read an article on skysports.com... * Mayweather sometimes didn't turn up to sessions * Held a glass of soda while doing pads * Turned up late often * Refused to listen to Lee Beard * Argued with Hatton often... * Hatton was sometimes seen training by himself or Lee Beard, as mayweather sometimes didn't turn up * Also Hatton looked like he was by himself at the weigh-in, post-fight etc If this is the case, I can see how it can play a mental part, and that would effect him... He just looked like he didn't wanna fight whatsoever, and wasn't listening to his corners advice. Like I said, Hatton lost, so I this is not an excuse thread. Also Lee has quite a nice boxing brain, just lacks experience... so perhaps he could play the main trainer?
probably this could of effected hatton but it wouldnt change da fact that he would of still lost...... but he would of lost a lilttle bit less emberassing
Mayweather Snr don't do southpaw mitts........ When training for a southpaw shouldn't you* Anyway you can't train your chin after it's gone.
Stop trying to make Excuses , I read Mr. Smiths article on Sky too... and you're really stretching what he said... and thats bad considering he is most likely stretching the truth already. Mayweather Snr. not showing up to running sessions didn't make Hatton lose the fight
No Mayweather was training him:rofl Everybody wanted to give mayweather props for making hatton look good vs malignaggi but now that hatton got knockout in 2 rounds by the best fighter in the universe. All these excuses start coming up. Pac is just the better fighter and he showed it during the fight.
"Don't get me wrong, Hatton got KOed and Pacquiao was a superman that night but that doesn't change what happened behind the scenes:" Wow you really are a thick *******, aint ya?
This is an excuse thread. It doesnt matter if you say its not. Blaming it on Mayweather or lack of proper training is an excuse.
Its a nice attempt at trying to excuse Hatton without making an Excuse... very clever... Funny thing is ... I read that Article too, you just read it and sopped all of it up like the lemming that you are... Your beliefs now EXACTLY are the same as the article ... just like Smith you talk about Pacquiao being superman after talking about how Mayweather was late and held a soda.... give me a break. Learn to think for yourself.
And the award for biggest dumbass on the whole of ESB goes to... drum roll please... McManama!! Congratulations McManama, your parents must be so proud!!
Didn't mayweather said pacman punches like an amateur:rofl If you based hatton's training by watching 24/7 then it would look like mayweather wasn't training him but then again most of the part they showed with hatton's camp is when they were joking around. Even when roger mayweather brought his fighter to spar with hatton they barely showed anything. They showed floyd sr talking then all of a sudden they showed hatton's training partner on the floor:rofl Roach said it the best. He said he(floyd sr) can't change hatton's style when hatton has been using this style throughout his career. Delahoya had roach trained him for mayweather jr fight. What did delahoya do different? Not a damn thing, he went back to his old way of fighting just like hatton did when he finally got in the ring with pacman.
credible source ..... haha , you Hatton fans are some of the most pathetic boxing fans when it comes to fight excuses ..... holy ****. When he fought Mayweather it was either the weight or Cortez that led to his defeat .... and now this is all sorts of excuses less than a week later spilling out. Really, just STFU Hatton would not have beat Pacman on Saturday no MATTER WHO WAS TRAINING HIM.... he showed that he cannot change much, he is a brawler and that doesn't work against Master fighters like MAyweather or Pacman.
no one said hatton would have won otherwise, like mayweather was the only reason he lost. no one is simply a better boxer, that kind of thing comes through training and mental fortitude. This thread is discussing the factors that have contributed to hattons defeat. No doubt his training should be examined cause if he was training poorly that would lead him to be an inferior boxer. so please, in a nutshell we are discussing what led to hattons defeat (one of multiple reasons i'm sure) not saying 'OMG MAYWEATHER MADE HATTON LOSE!'
