I agree with the Heavyweights. I don't have time to look at the rest right now. (My wife is keeping me pretty busy with Spring house cleaning.) :roll:

my question here is why did they didnt recognize morales, barrera, marquez and pacquiao as the lineal 130 champ

 

The lineal title became vacant after Mayweather moved up, and Morales failed to clean out the division or become the clear #1 before losing to Barrera.

 

JMM and Pac was the top 2 130 pounders...they fought and the winner should be declared the lineal champ...

not sure who is the second best fighter in morales reign at 130, i guess it's corrales

 

I just looked over the heavies. I think it looks pretty well ok, although personally i dont recognise Hart or Burns as Jefferies reestablished lineage when he came back so I go straight from Jefferies to Johnson.

 

foreman was the lineal champ from 1994-1997 but he is by far not the best HW that time

 

That's questionable, Edwin Valero was a titleholder and already well established at the weight. Anyone looking to claim lineage at that weight would likely have to beat him first.

Either Corrales or Nanthachai.

IF your going that root, than Ralf Tiger Jones became Middleweight Champion when he beat a comebacking Robinson, BEFORE he lost to Fullmer and Carman and Pendler.

I conisder Burns and Hart Lineal Champs. Not great champs, but lineal, Burns mostly clean out other countrys top fighters taking the title on the road. Before Johnson dethorn him.
Hart beat Johnson.
6 years is plenty of time.

 

The whole idea of lineage is to beat the man who beat the man. Johnson did that. Had Jefferies never made the come back al a Marciano or Tunney then I would have accepted Hart and Burns. I understand why they are included I personally however dont recognise them as more than title holders

 

So is Ralf Tiger Jones Middleweight champ in your book? And Fullmer and Carman, and Pendler and so on never became champs?
