Lewis must have a ****ing big head to do all that damage with one headbutt. He must also have blinding head-speed to ensure the cameras never picked up on it What the cameras did pick up on was him landing right hand after right hand on that area of the face.....so are we to believe the champion that VITLAY was on his way down, or notorious bad sportsman and all round **** VITLAY that he was cheated? Tough question, that.
Cooper claimed he was unlucky both times against Ali too. 40 years on, no-one gives a **** and considers him a bitter old man. I suspect the same will be said of VITLAY in 2043 while he's still ranting about losing that fight.
Head speed Larry Merchant.....'How were you able to avoid his right hand, could you see it that easily?' Now you don't even have to watch the fight to know that he didn't avoid the right hand atall. The left side of his face looked like roadkill
Did Merchant really ask that with a straight face? :rofl:rofl:rofl I need to watch that fight again I think, I'd forgotten about that, if it happened. I remember Merchant badgering Lewis after the fight about how he was behind on the cards, Lewis's face was a picture..."erm Larry, look at the state of his face" :rasta
They were his very words.Dig it up:good Another gem....Larry Merchant....'he seemed to be able to somehow avoid your big right hand, how did he do that?'
Right, **** this place I'm off to youtube for a laugh, I genuinely can't remember that People seem to forget that Klitschko had worse facial damage than any opponent Lewis had ever faced in 20 years of boxing, yet according to some he was doing a brilliant containing job - and that was the worst version of Lewis I ever saw in the ring, and I include both his losses in that too. I can just imagine that pissed up **** Merchant interviewing WALDO after the Sanders fight...."so weren't you even worried that he might catch you with the left hand at any point WALDO?" :rofl
Luckily Chef is a big guy himself (I'd estimate 300 lbs at least :hey) He'll do a fine job helping carry WALDO back to the dressing room, and forcing eggs benedict down his neck for a few days after the fight.
Wlad's left hook will destroy Haye, he will never see the first one that hits him. The same way Hatton never saw the first right hook. Get ready folks.
Larry got seriously brave interviewing Lewis after the Vitali fight.I guess he had ol' Jack on his side
We have 2 volunteers for sparring partners, here: djoc175 and Fighting Weight - they're being mean to Vitali ! :yep
