My Fight

in Elgin, thought you gusy might like to know and see how i have come on from last time

Ok so im back from my fight in Elgin.

My coach wanted me to throw long shots and try and get me motivated and win the first round and try and KO him to motivate me.

So the bell rings and i come out and we both land a right hand but my oppoents is cleaner. I start to wait for him to come in and flurry with sharp right hands but my oppoennt was throwing more shots i was landing the cleaner shots.but he landed more on workrate. It was a great first round felt like Pryor Arguello 1 to me.

The second round i started boxing and was slick as hell and out boxed the guy completly until the last few seconds where he landed a short right followed by a left hook which caught me off balance and made me stumble.

The third was one sided in my favour the boy never got near me but i didnt do enough and lost on points.

after the fight Alan Minter was handing out trophies and i aksed him if it was as good as Antuofermo-minter. He looked surprised as hell i knew who Vito was but then told me about him and i told him he ofught Hagler wrong and he agreed. He then wished me wll and i felt he was impressed with me

this was the first fight i really had the confidence to stick and move and box normally

It would translate good to the pros as im fit as **** and i get better in the last round and could go another 3 rounds

me and my brother sometimes spar 12 rounds and were not knackered after it

but my style is quite pro the way i pick my shots am accurate and dont waste nothing and i punch like a pro my coach said (meaning i dont punch with an amatuer style)

nice. Minter was up doing the after dinner speach. Nice guy but nearly broke my hand shaking it.

But looking at him hes just a middleweight and he towered over me

 

dont think so probably FW for the rest of the year so 57kg but ill probably be a LW when i fight senior in 2 years

it was an enjoyable fight, a great atmosphere and it pleased the crowds
