A fight is scored firstly based on who lands the most punches. Give me one round of the fight where Joe was outlanded? I can get the stats off HBO if you like. As i've addressed already Hopkins was feigning injury because he was desperate and tiring. He may have been stopped if it had of carried on such was the desperation of his boxing. Joe is under-rated. As we all know people despise him because he is from Wales if he was from London or Manchester people would be proclaiming him in the top 4-5 pound for pound of all time instead because he's from a smaller country he's been ignored. We're extremely proud of Joe here in wales and he deserves all the praise he gets.

You disgust me. Bika was a dangerous, powerful contender and Hopkins is one of the ATGs. Manfredo nearly won the contender. These were big fights. But everyone forgets that now don't they?

Sorry if I got the wrong end of the stick, but I took all those posts below (and others) to be sarcastic. I apologise if thats not how they were intended.

    "
History is founded on these incredible people who have almost super powers. First there was Adam and eve, then there was Jesus and now we have joe and enzo calzaghe! We are truly blessed."

    "
Come on give Calzaghe a bit of credit chaps. Whats wrong with you people? The guy was an incredible fighting machine. Fearless is the word that springs to mind! Yet you guys try and claim he was... "

    "
Yep, Hopkins was in big trouble in those rounds I thought he was going to be stopped. They could easily have been 10-8 rounds to Calzaghe (the greatest of our generation). I scored it 120-108... "

Ok I explained the first one already. Calzaghe was taking a right drubbing in the thread in point two and in the last I have explained why I scored the fight as I did. I'm sorry for any offence caused.

8 Million pounds. Do you know how much money that is? Dawson was at the time Calzaghe was still active a belt holder. Nothing more. In my eyes your not a champion till you beat the best guys out there.

No offence caused at all, things just get misinterpreted in print. You just seemed too pro Calzaghe to be genuine, thats all.

So why did you use the terms prime and unbeaten when that completely contradicts your point?

I said unbeaten champion in his prime. Is he an unbeaten champion? No. Is he in his prime? For his sake I hope not.

Who are you, detective Columbo? Where's your mac?

He was off balance. Not so much a slip but his footing was all wrong.
