correct he hasn't been beaten . he knows he's going to lose pretty soon and the current crop of irish fighters are either soft or crap. Better he lose to a world class fighter then a club fighter like the other 2 at least he has his chance to cash out. better then to trust in The recent Bad luck of the Irish:yep

Cordoba is a very big superbantamweight just like Caballero i think Cordoba was weight drained.

Dunne has been beaten by martinez for the ebu , he could go far in this division if he stays away from lopez , bad luck of the irish ? this is the best era for boxing in ireland in a long time , we have future champions in lyndsay , rogan , mccloskey, lee and sutherland , never mind duddy . also we won 3 times more medals at the olympics then america did , so get your facts right kid

A Lopez fight would probably be foolish for any Super-Bantamweight in the world to take, even more so for a fighter like Dunne who has something to lose.

He should take the easy defence high-profile bout against Rendall Munroe. Munroe is huge at the weight and very strong, but isn't nearly as technically gifted as many think and imo he's really just a Super-Bantamweight Matt Skelton. He's of a similar quality to Skelton too and would be exposed at World level.

If Munroe could somehow force the fight to be held at close quarters all night and him being able to employ his usual tactic of leaning on his opponent while they're on the ropes to drain them he could win. Outside of that they he'd be easily outboxed.
I really hope that fight is made now, a huge amount of people(well most British posters) are fancying a Munroe win.

For the record I was confident of Dunne beating Munroe before the Cordoba fight aswell.

listen dickhead, Ireland is a tenth of the population of california and over the years can probably compete very favourably with most countries and individual american states when it comes to boxing. So get off your ****ing high horse and shut the **** up. And here's your list of Irish champions:

    Jimmy Mclarnin
    Steve Collins
    Wayne Mccullough
    Bernard Dunne
    Barry Mcguigan
    Mike Mctigue
    Eamonn Loughran

and there's probably more that i've forgotten...

Dunne would beat Munroe, and at his best could beat Caballero.

Vaqzuez would be a nice payday against a fighter recovering from a bad eye injury, but a win for Vazquez.

Juanma vs. Dunne is not a fight I would watch. I like Dunne, yes, and rate him very highly after beating Cordoba. But Juanma is an animal!!!! JML inside 3 rounds.

you haven't got a clue mate. Please explain to me, in detail how Mclarnin wasn't a world champion. Then when your finished doing that explain to me what you mean about me being a 'small time *****', cos I don't understand wtf your talking about!! Small time regarding what exactly??

that was a good one about olympic boxing meaning nothing aswell, you tell that to Ali and all the other greats who stepped up on that podium to accept their olympic medals!
    your a clown.

but i do agree dunne would lose to juanma, by the way
