Tarver looks in very good shape, not that he was in terrible shape first time but he looks real good and focused here.

I dont recall Tarver ever having hand problems, but then again he is 40 years old.

At least he looks to be in top shape.

Dawson outworking him, while Tarver tries to measure...

Has there ever been a more pointless rematch? Malignaggi vs N'dou perhaps.

This crowd sucks. Sounds like they're fighting in a warehouse.

Not a great first round, but a clear one for Dawson.

    10-9 Dawson

Fight starts off with a jab a thon between Milk Dud and Dawson. Dawson's job seems more loaded so to speak. Milk Dud has the hands up high and seems very aware of Dawsons superior speed. Dawson lands a few jabs and misses wide with a body punch. Tarver seems to be shelled up as round 1 begins much like how round 11 and 12 ended. Dawson is moving from the jab but JUST misses the money mark with a big right. Dawson moving as Tarver paws with a jab. Dawson goes for an awful clinch attempt as both fighters look a bit more uncomfortable in there as the round hits the final minute. Tarver trying to paw and land something big on Dawson but nothing has landed yet. Dawson takes the final 30 seconds with some flashy combo work as the round ends.

    Intriguing round 1 to start.

BUDDY MCGIRT epic corner advice #1:

"You need to throw that jab with more confidence baby."

    Round 1

Not much action there, Dawson landed better shots in my opinion, nothing major though just a normal slow first round.

    Round 1 Dawson

Tarver is going to try to time him and use the straight left, play the role of counter puncher. I can already tell. The strategy must be to use Dawsons speed and aggressiveness against him.

This isnt going to be any different than the first fight
