You are so far ahead of yourself it's ridiculous. Only a **** would try and jump on the first comment from a peer who has established his familiarity with the sport. Press that agend, sweety. Press it.
The shot that knocked Hatton out, I forecasted it here countless times. Pacquiao's punch resistance - accurately forecasted. Hatton's vulnerability once he got hurt - accurately forecasted. Hatton trapping Pacquiao between 15 seconds and 1 minute into the fight - accurately forecasted. Hatton forcing Pacquiao to abandon moving and opting to trade - accurately forecasted. Ect. Ect. Ect. Hatton's reaction to Pacquiao's power - not forecasted. The point is; I wasn't some fanboy ****wad underserving of respect claiming Hatton is going to "PWN him" and garbage like that - OBVIOUSLY. I knew what to expect in certain senses, but then not at all in the final result. Like alot of people. Not a problem. I got PWNed.
Like we don't know each other - you know me - remember?? Now you don't know nothing about me or the situation, eh? SUDDENLY.
Well i guess what all the Hatton fans were saying before the fight that Hatton could cut off fighters and that he had underrated foot speed was true. Only, as it turned out, it was a non factor. Anyway, how was it illegal?
I don't think that's illegal, the low blow and rabbit punch looks more foul to me. And you won't really notice that pac was already backing up ricky... :smoke
Watch it. Did you see Hatton's reaction?? You can't run somebody across the ring like that, and it is most certainly illegal. If Hatton had tripped they might have both went over. It was too much.. We're straying from the original point, THOUGH. Go back to my original post.
I've seen the fight dozens of times, and I'm rewatching it again right now. I dont see anything illegal about what Manny did in the first clinch, am. He just powers himself out of the ropes, that's it.
'Had him on the ropes' - hardly. As soon as Manny was on the ropes for that split second, he had already tied up Hatton's left and was immediately walking him away into the center of the ring. Hardly running either. 'with more strength than the rules allow. He bulled Hatton out illegally.' - yeah, right! Illegal move? Not punching in a clinch is not respected, but hardly illegal. That's what Manny did. It's called boxing. 'It was more of a panic move and a correction move than a statement move' - LOL!! That's funny. Whole statement is ******ed.
you're good at making gifs right? can you make a gif of when Hatton is driving Pac backwards and Pac lands a big left on him. I think about 10 seconds before the first KD
That's Marc, man. Not me. Sorry. The second KD was also nice. Manny got Ricky hurt and Ricky was about to clinch and hold on the ropes to buy some time. Referee Kenny Bayless was even about to break them both up from the clinch there. But somehow, Ricky wasnt able to clinch well enough (or Manny escaped from the clinch) he backed him up and got flurried and went down the second time.
