I do think Chad should take an interim bout with Johnson but after that fight this trilogy needs resolution. It was apparent Tarver overtrained but he was competitive. He just needs a new trainer. How quickly people forget his incredible wins over Jones and Balboa.
How about Balboa Dawson? That's the fight fans want to see. Plus, it would continue Bad Chads streak of fighting older and older fighters each time out.
No point in a third fight, first fight was one-sided and rematch Tarver just offered all he had and fell short, this was Tarver's best chance and he couldn't pull it off.
I think the 3rd fight will get some decent PPV numbers. They just need to market it carefully to those with insomnia, which I suppose is a pretty big number. Emphasize that the fight can cure their insomnia or their money back.
Yeah! He won 6 whole rounds out of 24! It'd be a travesty if he didn't get a chance to settle the score. Hell, for all we know he could score a 10-8 in every single round and put them just about even in points!
