He lost but he did give a better showing than the 1st fight ....but in all honesty the guy made a name for himself by being in the right place at the right time and catching roy on the down turn......he would have never did what he did to Roy pre-Ruiz ( NEVER!!!)
There is no way it was a robbery, some of the rounds were competative and Tarver maybe thought he had won them but I only gave him 3 rounds, the same as two of the judges. I'm sure McGirt told him he needed to win the last round, apart from that being BS since Dawson already had it in the bag by then, it's a bit rich if he's saying now that it was a robbery.
What about Garay, Diaconu or Erdei and trying to unify the belts. It seems like the Americans will only consider fighting other Americans at LHW since Calzaghe retired.
Yo..i don't know why some of the people on here sleep/underate,under appreciate Chad Dawson on here. He is the most talented/Skilled fighter at 175 and probably at Cruiserweight as well. with the exception of B-hop. The only thing he lacks in my eyes is maybe a little power and killer instinct. And ur not going to knock everybody out, who has knocked Tarver out...Nobody, he obviously has a pretty decent beard. Even Floyd Mayweather Jr. said Dawson was one of the best in the sport. Theres a reason why Bhop and Calazaghe never mention his name, and it aint all about the money. I think Dawson is MUCH better than Taylor, and his speed gave bhop alot of problems. Dawson has much more skill and ring smarts than Taylor
Looked pretty good in spurts, but he didn't have nearly enough of them. Got rocked once, but Bad Chad wasn't feeling bad enough to go after him.
