I'm a big Marquez fan, but even I don't think he has a chance against the naturally bigger Mayweather. But what if Marquez does win? It would set the stage for the most dramatic third fight showdown since Ali-Frazier III. Alright, maybe that's a slight exaggeration, but not by that much. Maybe Vasquez v Marquez IV could be on the undercard, too. Wishful thinking.
He gets the fight with Pacquiao and A LOT of credit with it, might even be a threat to Pacquiao #1 P4P position.
When JMM knocks Floyd out he'll become an instant mexican legend like Pancho Villa, JCC and Pedro Navaja(film).
I think if he beats mayweather its one of the biggest wins in the history of boxing and he definetly for me goes 1 p4p.

Marquez vs Pac III will be HUGE, not as big as a fight with Floyd or new but will be huge indeed. Marquez coming off wins over Casamayor, Diaz and Mayweather should hype him good enough to make a third fight with Pac a megaevent.

Marquez will be a legend, a Mexican Icon....if he beats Pacman then too in a rubber match he will be up there as one of the best ever....but, all of these things are easier said than done.....Marquez will have his hands full against Mayweather, he will have to first chase him down, find him then actually try and land something on him...very difficult task to accomplish if you ask me.
