Hatton to be trained by Roach?

Roach said he probably would not train Hatton now, after getting knocked out twice.

 

This would have worked it Hatton had gone to Roach 3 years ago, too late now.

2. If everytime you lose you need to change trainers then there must be a problem with yourself.

 

The right trainer doesn't matter if your fighter ignores his training and does the same dumb **** in the ring that you told him NOT to do.

It'll never happen. Roach said he should retire. He will not risk his reputation for only one or two possible fights, since hatton can't adapt/change.

 

Roach doesn't really have time, and Hatton doesn't seem to listen to his trainers anyway.

 

Last I heard from Roach was that he felt Ricky should retire and said "I can't help him out now at this stage in his career" ..So until I see something else from Roach I doubt it ever happens !

 

Retire
