obviously mate. My record really dosent do me any favours but in the gym im pretty good and im finally getting that confidence in the ring if you know what i mean. Obviously am a long way off being a pro but it is a goal for me
Ok fair enough. I didn't mean to sound harsh or anything. I just don't agree with encouraging young lads to get hit in the face for a living when they've a losing record, especially as it gets much harder when you're fighting men. Good luck anyway. Peace.
yes i understand mate you wasnt harsh you was realistic obvioisly like i said im a long way off and still have to mature physically but my trainer says im really growing and getting stronger. In the gym im sparring men who arnt that experiacned but decent boxers and im beating them up but just lack firepower and strength. i know i have a long way to go and have trained with a pro trainer who explained to me i need to win a few amatuer titles so i can build a following get a promotor etc... then he would take me pro if i still wanted too but he did say i have a long way to go
patto.... you read that post from J.G... and his interview with Pimentel... That speaks volumes. Never lose sight of the big picture mate. Follow ya dream. I followed mine to Rio... the ***** married someone else!!!!
yeh i saved that interview he posted. I am currently saving my money to go on a trip round the gyms of america in philly, Las Vegas, New York etc.... unlucky mate at least you gave it a go
unfortunaltly not. after my exams im going to look for a job but i cant leave till Christmas and even then i wont be able to get a full time job as the company i might be working for only takes apprentices in the summer
You've got ya life infront of you mate... dont rush it. Find work (a career job.. trade or bank robber) and then you'll have something to fall back onto. lol.

Well done buddy, just improve the basics and learn to keep off the ropes a bit and lookout opponents. Good stuff.
looks like you got some skills...a lot of good fighters lost in the amatuers...Tommy Hearns was not a puncher in the amatuers...hang in there and learn from your mistakes ...I saw that lead right...good stuff
