no one's denying pac's greatness, he's a modern great, but trust me, david diaz and ricky hatton are not 1/4 of what 135lb version of duran was. be sure of that, just like floyd will never be a leonard

speaking logistics, the fight in which Duran was knocked out and the one you keep reffering to would be comparable to Pacquiao moving up to 154 after 82 fights and 20 pounds above his natural weight to fight one of the greatest knockout punchers in the history of the ring...but keep up the enthuiasm for your boy manny, its probably what keeps him winning fights. but in the end, i dont even think manny pacquiao believes he can beat roberto duran, but its fans like you that keep him spirited. its cute i guess in a naive sort of way.

Hearns is an ATG and one of the heaviest hitters of all time.
Rustico and Singsurat were bums. See the difference?

I have alot of respect for Duran but the truly only great fight hes won was against SRL.
You could make a case for the DeJesus rematch.

He is one of my Favorite fighters (beating Moore was a highlite for me) but he tends to get a bit overrated. He is the greatest LW of all time and is pretty high up there in the ATG but lets just wait on Pacs final legacy since hes probably not close to being done fighting.

The fight against Floyd will answer alot of questions

:rofl:rofl:rofl:patsch so your saying pacman hit just as hard or harder than tommy hearns at 154, which might of been his best fighting weight, and had a better boxing skills than the real "Hitman"? :-( Tommy blasted Duran at 154, not 135! He had been dropped, but never stopped at 135 as well.

I agree with waiting to see how pacmans legacy plays out, cause who knows. but i cant agree with duran being overrated. eventhough leonard might be his best known victory and what put him on the map people forget he also boxed to a decision with Marvelous Hagler while Hagler was middleweight champion, the only other boxer to do that during that reign of sugar ray leonard. Yes he was knocked out by Tommy Hearns but Duran also went on to beat Iran Barkley and Davey Moorer when he was much much older and wayyyy above his normal weight. That to me solidify's his greatness.
