I hate you for writing it before me. That's exactly how I saw it too. He didn't have it easy when he was young in Colombia. I can understand why he feels that way. Don't condone him though. Look at all the Cuban fighters. They never turn their backs on their countries, even though Fidel was a ***** to live with.

I can understand him not feeling a deep connection to Columbia, but that is just ****ing classless. Columbia is what made him hard for gods sake. He should acknowledge that. Thats like a Mexican-American fighter completely disregarding his mexican fans and saying he wasnt born there, so why should he care about showing them love? Plus, he just alienated his entire fanbase in Florida as has been pointed out. Not to mention he is making himself look bad in the eyes of other fans. Well, I just wanted to share this....life goes on. You can't start claiming to be from a different country and all of the sudden be loved for it. He will find out the hard way what it is to lose fans.
Taking out of account the obvious nationalistic thing and the country who made him and all he just ****ed a big part of his fans up. Anyway Columbia doesn't need him,they got plenty of other guys,Mendoza,Torres,Urango,Zuniga,etc.
